Amazing place for sweets and sandwiches. Tried one day and had to go again the next morning before leaving Paris. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Nice cozy venue with good interior decor. Sweets were AMAZING! Our sandwiches and pastries were tasty. Fresh! Already on my list to come the next time I’m in Paris.
Nice boulangerie and patisserie near Gare du Nord and Gare de l’est area. There are a few sittings indoors and more outside. We had the plain croissant and pistachio chocolate escargot as well as the chocolate beignet. The croissant is alright but we preferred it to be slightly more flaky and buttery. The escargot has a hint of artificial taste. The beignets are big but a little too sweet for us. Overall its good but there are better shops around this region.
All the breads and desserts looks so good. Had the Nordique, taate like a fully loaded pizza. The croissant was ok but not the best. The lady with a hair bun was very friendly and have good command of English so one star for that. There's place to sit in which is great for tourists.
Fantastic bakery and cafe for those in the area. Great delicious savory treats and sweet desserts! Very nice and will come again!
That’s one of the best bakery, pastry shops around Gare du Nord. Not top notch, but really good sweets and very wide variety for selection including salty, savoury selection.
favorite pastries we had in Paris, by far! stayed next door & got it almost every morning. super quick service, not pretentious, great prices, different options every day. everything was delicious! I’m still dreaming about the fresh apricot cream pastry I had there..!
Best croissants ever! Me and my friend visited paris for 4 days and this little bakery was a 2 minute walk away which was perfect for breakfast!
Looked for a local boulangerie to have a bit of breakfast before heading back on the Eurostar. This must be the nicest bakery in the area, surely?! Everything we had was freshly baked, and beautifully made. The service was friendly, yet efficient. The latter very needed as they've had a queue out the door throughout our breakfast These people are queuing for a reason. Be smart and join the queue! We had perfectly flaky croissants, an eclair so fresh the choux still had a crispness to it, and a Brest with the most beautiful hazelnut creme.
The décor makes one think, this spot should be pretty good. It really isn’t. It is just okay, at best. I should have know better than to go in, as everyone was speaking english… Alas, had to start my day with something. All of the pastries looked old and dry, but I opted formule express with the boule de pistache et chocolat. Way too sweet. Really doughy. Dry in a way that did not contribute to flakiness. The coffee, however, was good. A nice layer of crema and reasonably priced if you take it to go. If you need a caffeine fix as I did, skip the pastries…
Super sandwiches and pastries . Tasty bread . Good coffee . Super stuff. This is it.
