Bay Terrace Il Apartments

A nice apartment complex. Perhaps a move to this community is in my future. Nice lake views and everything needed nearby.

The windows are extremely drafty and it's true that combined with baseboard electric heating you're screwed hydro bill wise all winter. Ironically it's hot during the summers so crank that a/c but those bills don't even compare to the winter ones. Fairly expensive. Includes vertical blinds, a/c unit in living room and a dishwasher. The windows don't open more than a couple inches though and I'm unsure if I could even exhaust a portable a/c through it for the bedroom in the summer. The windows need to be resealed/replaced at the very least. The pool needs repainting. There is smoking still indoors and oftentimes this will infiltrate your unit no matter what you do especially during the winter. The staff are great and do what they can but in need of repairs. And don't get me started on the number of spiders the last two summers it's uncanny and slightly disturbing. But there is definitely worse in this city. Has BBQs every summer season. The laundry in building 2 only has 1 HE washer though out of 6 although the other building has all HE washers. Mostly either elderly neighbors or Queens University kids.
