I couldn’t ask for a better urgent care experience. The entire visit was efficient and my interactions with each staff member were incredibly pleasant. I was grateful to have such an easy visit in evaluating my shoulder injury. I would definitely recommend to anyone who needs urgent orthopedic care.
Dr Josh Anderson immediately earned my trust and respect, and listened carefully to his new patient explain my history of the arthritic knee. He was warm and welcoming, and, as I said, an excellent listener. It took a while for me to get in once I got to the office, but he was really worth the wait.
I was at Bay Street to see Eric. He does a fantastic job asking me feel at ease and comfortable. Eric explains what he is going to do and what results to expect. I highly recommend Eric and the other doctors that I have had the pleasure to deal with with my care.
Great experience! Thought Yvette was wonderful. I loved how she’s very experienced yet at the same time talked to me on a patient level. She didn’t try to rush anything such as injections, surgery, and took her time with me answering all my questions. Only reason I rated my experience at a 4 was because of the wait time. I understand Bay Street is very busy must be because it’s a highly rated establishment. As soon as we were greeted by the receptionist we felt welcomed and she was very kind giving my daughter many compliments! It was a pleasant start of the visit. The waiting room is well set up and clean. My 7 year old daughter was with me and she enjoyed reading the pamphlets and comparing the pictures in the pamphlet to the ones on the wall. I’ve always had great treatment at BSO!
The staff are awesome & Erik is professional as well a good listener. He told me i need to work more on straintening my knee, I do. I like when a Dr or PA doesnt hesitate on what needs to happen. Thank you
I have gone here for several mos. The staff is both kind and attentive. No long waiting period for your appointment. Questions are answered and options for tx are explored. TY
I was recently seen as a new patient at Bay Street Orthopaedics & Spine and I was quite impressed with the professionalism and the time they gave me during this initial appt. in order to take x-rays, collect my history and fully understand the scope of my long-term back & spine issues. I saw, Juan Rhoades, a nurse practitioner, for this initial appt. and felt that he was very professional. He had a great demeanor, listened attentively to my concerns and seemed to be quite knowledgeable. So, I received excellent care from that provider. The only reason didn't give a 5 star review to Bay Street Orthopaedics & Spine at this time is that I believe for a New Patient Appt. it would have been appropriate for me to see the Doctor/Specialisteven if briefly from whom I'll be receiving treatment ie. Dr Bozzio to, at least, establish that connection. I am told, however, that I will be meeting with the Dr. upon my next appt. a follow-up with more x-rays in 6 mos., so it may simply be that they like many medical facilities these days are short-staffed and, therefore, have difficulty spreading their doctors around.
I find she lacks in the bedside manner and is condescending to me when I’m there. She’s fond of saying… I know you’re in pain, but… The pain from the torn rotator cuff can be excruciating at times and I don’t think she realizes the severity of it. I feel like I am just another number when I am there, and not truly treated as a single patient with known issues. I like the doctor she represents, but I can’t say that she makes me fond of going there.
Did not address new back pain. Suggested physical therapy but VA won’t approve therapy from a non va provider without a consult and approval from va community cares. Been at this since 2009 and civilian providers won’t accept optum insurance premiums. Also, told doctor that stimulator in back needs to be charged more than twice a week. Said contact Medtronic. Overall not impressed with appointment at bay street
The only problem was the wait to get in to see Taylor. He is wonderful and very professional and thorough. Takes time to address concerns. I always look forward to seeing him.
