We love going to Baskin Robbins for ice cream. I used to go there so often when I was growing up. Then as the years went by, I stopped going for some reason. Now that I have a child of my own, trips to Baskin Robbins are becoming more frequent again. Featured here: Wild'n Reckless sherbet, Cherries Jubilee, Cotton Candy and Rainbow Sherbet Cherries Jubilee: Loaded with chunks of cherry and it was simply marvelous! Wild'n Reckless Sherbet: With green apple, blue raspberry and fruit punch it's wild like the name implies! Cotton Candy: A lovely swirl of pink and purple that really does remind me of cotton candy! Rainbow Sherbet:Combines raspberry, pineapple and orange for a wonderfully tangy flavour. Did you know that you can buy tubs of ice cream from Baskin Robbins for 31% off when it's the 31st day of a month? That's when we bought our tub of Wild'n Reckless. Back in June we ordered an ice cream cake for our daughter's birthday and she had selected Wild'n Reckless as the ice cream inside the cake. That was her first time trying that flavor and she fell in love with it. Our daughter. She still looks for this flavor when we go to Baskin Robbins even though we have our own tub of it at home. I have to admit, it's quite tasty and I enjoy it almost as much as she does. It's right up there with my childhood favourite, Rainbow Sherbet! Service: Good Parking: Plentiful and free! Location: Convenient. Many businesses in the area, and two shopping malls close by. Park Royal Shopping centre is less than 5 minutes drive away in one direction, and Capilano Mall is less than 5 minutes drive away in the other direction.
Nice, friendly service. Ice cream was tasty. Had a sundae and a single cone. Sundae was nicely prepared and my daughter really liked it. Located next to the ICBC Licensing Centre. Plentiful parking.
I have been to this store many times over the years but this visit was awesome. The store was very neat and clean. We were the only ones there at that moment so we had a few minutes to taste things before having to make our final choice. The young lady that was working was very friendly and informative as I asked her a few questions. My girls did build your own sundaes which was super fun and a good price I thought at $3.99 . My husband had a scoop of Rum Raisin...total Old Dad flavour...made me laugh. Me..tried and true Chocolate Mousse Royal...I have been addicted to it for years.
Coming here always replays my childhood memory, especially the mint chocolate chip flavor. Today was my birthday and once again I wanted to taste something that I know very well. Although Baskin-Robbins in Canada seems different from ones in Korea. But still, I love visiting here. I wish there would be more Baskin-Robbins franchise in Canada.
Although the ice cream is good and only because it's provided by corporate, the service provided by the manager was horrible after notifying him that dogs were not allowed in the restaurant, He just ignored me. So I filed a complaint with Vancouver Coastal Health. I was ignored when I first came in so the manager could continue training the new staff member on making a Milkshake. I had to wave at them to get their attention and even then they seemed annoyed. I will drive up the road to the next location.
The cake on the website and real one differ so much.... unfortunately. I think you should show REAL PHOTO in advance... because your cake are not cheap and people count on you when preparing a holiday : First photo below is a real cake, the second one from the website.
The manager needs to go to the customer service training, she is very rude!!! And she can not speak English!!
Very nice ice cream place. Definitely try their pink Bubblegum and watermelon and Mango tango, they are the best flavors there
Ordered a simple cake for my wife’s birthday and the icing had fallen off before I even picked it up. I mentioned it to the only staffer in the store on a Saturday morning 15 yr old behind the till, not her fault she just gets stuck dealing with unhappy customers she was unable to fix it not being one of their cake makers. Un-acceptable way to present your wares, and no recourse at the time. I’m not going back.
I ordered a banter cake from their website for my son to mark a special occasion. I was very disappointed when picked it up. The decoration was infantile, as if a child had done it and to me it looked so cheap, certainly not a cake worth $59.99 I called the company and complained, they passed the complaint to the manager in North Van. He-James, called, I was super nice and at that point completely downplayed it, he said he'll give an in store credit, he'll send a card. Out of curiosity I asked how much for? He said $10-15 that Cheap!!! I said at least $20 i was shocked. Then he says he'll have to run it by their company, which is nonsense cause a manager can decide to make it up to the customer even for the whole amount that was paid. To this date I haven't received anything. It takes 2 days for mail to get from someone in north Van. It's been over a week. Poor customer service. In addition, the woman that served me was rude. I won't return here, not recommend it.
