If could would give I zero stars, the staff took over 20 mins to help us one staff member just played around on her phone instead of helping us place was dirty and the workers didn't follow hand sanitizing guidelines. Ordered a chocolate milkshake thing was super runny and was more equivalent to chocolate milk, asked for them to redo and they said no that how are milkshakes are. DO NOT GO THERE UNLESS WANT POOR SERVICE.
This is NOT a regular Baskin-Robbins store. Dont pay before they actually prep your order. Staff are not trained on basic ice cream service techniques shake vs malt; scoop size/density are too small and are quite clueless on what is being ordered. I asked for a two scoop sundae with hot fudge topping, I was offered mocha syrup from the Dunkin Donut menu as a supposed “chocolate sauce“ option as they dont carry BR hot fudge. Mocha flavor is coffee + chocolate - not a viable sub for hot fudge for me. The kicker is that I over paid for the whole experience - ice cream quantity then no topping plus the whipped cream option was another Dunkin substitute. What a disappointment this location is to the Baskin Robbins legacy.
Worst place ever. Drove an hour to get there. No Chocolate Mint, No Chocolate, no Strawberry. They had about 4 flavors. They had no to go containers either. Place is dirty, staff doesn't care. They shouldn't be allowed to advertise as a Baskin Robbins.
Stopped in with my daughter while she was here from Florida. It was about 7:30PM. There were covers over all the ice cream and we were told that they couldn't sell any ice cream because the workers on the night sift "hid all the scoops". The girl behind the counter said she came in at 4:30PM and they still couldn't find them. I asked if they had called a Manager, she said yes. So I was wondering, why didn't the Manager run over to Walmart and pick up some ice cream scoops? Unbelievable! I would hope the night shift crew gets terminated, and the Manager should be addressed as well, Did noting to resolve the problem at all. Baskin with 34 flavors can't sell an ice cream cone? She also didn't even offer pre-packaged ice cream. It was just overall poor experience.
The only reason this BR gets one star is for continuing to exist. I’ve lived on the south side of Janesville for three years and I really want this joint to not be terrible. I take the kids here about every six months in the hopes that it will be under new management or something, but no dice. It’s absolutely filthy, they’re always out of everything, and the only thing the staff appears trained on is how to evade direct questions like “do you have any kid’s cones?”. For real guys, you have literally 5 supplies you need to keep tabs on to serve ice cream, and a 700sq ft space to familiarize yourself with. I get that we’re all swimming in the collective waters of uncertainty here, but that’s a question you should totally be able to answer. You could also wipe the counter every once in a while.
Went to this baskin robins and tried to order a banana split and was handed 3 scoops of vanilla ice cream with a banana, whipped cream, and a cherry. When I said it wasn’t a banana split they took it back and smeared a huge glob of hot fudge on each side and brought that back, we got a refund and will not be going here again.
Asked for a 31 Below, lady told me "I don't know what that is". I explained it to her and she said "I've never heard of that", despite it being on the sign at the drive through. After quoting me a price more than a dollar higher than the actual cost of the item she then attempted to serve it to me in a parfait cup half the size of the shake cup. This isn't the first time I've had a problem at this particular Baskin Robbins, usually they give me a smaller cup size than I've paid for or only manage to fill the cup half full, but this was just downright silly. I'll travel the extra mile to Dairy Queen from now on.
When we walked in they listed like 4 things right off the bat that they didn't have. I had called ahead of time to ask if they had bananas for a banana split and they said yes. Then when we arrived literally 5 minutes later they said they didn't. THEN proceeded to decline to have the next two things I asked for We will NEVER go to this store again and will warn others not to either!! HORRIBLE! This store is linked to a Dunkin Donuts and it appears that the owners are only interested in that aspect of the store. Lots and lots of donuts....hardly any ice cream or sundae supplies. I only gave 1 star because it wouldn't let me give 0.
The workers need much more training how proper ice cream scooping technique. The girl who took our order looked lost. Could find the scoop and broke the cone and had to start again. Smallest little scoops.
I love their ice cream and they usually have plenty of flavors. Sometimes their place is dirty though. Still like going here once in a while.
