Basil Pasta

Tried the lemon chicken fettuccine. What's nice is they use fresh herbs here so there was freshly sliced basil on my pasta with lots of cheese and chicken chunks. The portion is nice and big but not too big. Quite nice. It would be even more awesome if they made their own homemade pasta from scratch. Tasted pretty good otherwise.

This place is an absolute delight. You won’t get better custom pasta for even close to this price, anywhere in the country. I have long been a satisfied customer and huge fan of Basil Pasta Bar on Davie downtown, now I found it’s sister on Kingsway in Burnaby across from Central Park. FYI…the house salad is awesome too!!

This was our first time here and we loved it. The service was friendly and fast. Our food arrived quickly, was steamy hot and delicious! Reasonable price with big portions. We ordered Pesto Shrimp Linguine / Chicken Curry Fettuccine Combo with Caecar salad. We definitely will back to try other flavors!

My favourite place to get pasta!!! You can make your own pasta or anything on the menu that is already awesome and super delicious. You can’t go wrong! Charlie is a superstar and was amazing, and made the experience 100x better!!

This pasta place is a recent go to place for me & my family. It’s a quaint little restau & It’s near my church so it’s an easy walk going there. The food is great and it’s not as expensive. Plus the servings are huge and makes you remember how restaurants in Vancouver used to have this size of portions 5 years ago. Not to mention that the bar is manned by Santana who is super nice, friendly & accommodating.

Ordered a pesto pasta and a pesto cream pasta. Looking at the other reviews, it might've just been an off day for the chefs since the chicken breast, mushroom, and my pesto pasta was close to flavorless. We had to add a copious amount of salt; since the pastas were so bland, I have to give two stars. Would love to be proven wrong and give you guys more stars since the service provided by the staff was great. Cashier was super polite and washroom/store was very clean.

Great food. We ordered fresh herb linguine and gnocchi. Amazing taste, budget friendly. Santana was the server, amazing person!

Tucked in a quiet neighbourhood, it is a busy restaurant with many take out orders. The restaurant has a capacity of 20 pax, it is very bright and spacious. The food was really delicious, we had ordered a cheese ravioli one of my favourite, and the second one was a build your own, in which I added penne, rose sauce, olives, artichokes, bell peppers, corn, mozeralla, parmessan, basil and other herbs and a side of garlic bread. The taste was really good, the portion size was good, but the garlic bread was just 2 slices as I had expected 4 for the price of 2.49. Yet not disappointed, and will surely be visiting again when I'm in that vicinity. Vegetarian options: you can build your own pasta, and there are many vegetarian options too.

Came here because of the reviews. Good for cheap pasta, but it didn't really curb my pasta craving. Carbonara was more like a white sauce pasta and the spaghetti and meatball surprisingly had a kick to it. Overall only come if you're not fussy about your pasta and don't want to spend much.

Had the Lemon Chicken Fettucine with garlic bread. Was not that impressed by the Lemon Chicken but the Garlic Bread stole the show for me. Service was great, Johnny/Charlie was great and helped out a lot for making the meal even better! Would try other options and avoid the chicken Food: 4/5
