Super fun bar! Delicious drinks and great food! A fun place to spend time with friends.
Bartari was the first "videogame" bar I'd been to and I was pretty pleased with the experience. The place was busy and had a lot of stuff to look at. I ordered a Zelda's Lullaby drink and let me tell you, man that thing was dangerous. It was really good, could've been stronger but is one of those drinks you have like 4 and you don't realize the alcohol is hitting you till you stand up. Food was alright, fairly plain and general food you can find anywhere. Over all happy and will return
Bartari is a cute little bar! Pinball games, and almost any other game/system you can think of! Food is great, they also have unique drinks. You can host bday parties there too! Def worth checking out! I attended a pie eating contest there not too long ago lol It was a blast!
I started a game of Bloodborne here because I haven't been able to play it for a few months. Nothing like crushing a few cocktails and hunting down some beasts in a nice cozy barcade. Don't know if it was luck or the booze relaxing me, but I beat Gascoigne without dying, and that's never happened in the four playthroughs I've done. Great service, friendly staff, lots of games to choose from old and new. 10/10 would play Bloodborne here again while crushing beers.
I've been following Bartari on social media for a long while now but I haven't had a chance to stop by until recently. I did want to wait for a little while after they opened because new businesses need to work out the kinks but I never intended it to be this long. So, almost a year later, I finally made it out. The good: - Poutine as advertised was great. I just had the original but it was fantastic. - Big game selection. They have a huge cabinet in the back hallway area that contains all of their games. - Bathroom was neat with the game characters all over. - Staff were friendly. The bad: - I'm not sure why a video game place has tiled wallpaper of Macho Man elbow dropping Jesus. - The consoles attached to a board with metal strapping looks terrible, I can think of so many other ways that this could be done that would look great. I didn't take a picture at the time, but I found the attached photo and cropped it to show what I'm talking about. - The counter running by the windows looks so poorly constructed. It doesn't look finished. It looked like the attached photo, maybe it wasn't actually finished, maybe it is completed now. - Walking by the front on the way in all you can see if bars in the window and the back of the mini CRTs and all of their wiring. It didn't look very inviting. Overall, I had a fun time, but the atmosphere and environment turned me off. It was good to visit once, but unless a friend is having a birthday party here or something I'm not entirely sure I need to go back. EDIT: One photo won't attach by the looks. If you look at their Facebook the consoles can be see in the photo with the father and his children on the wall.
Fun little place to go. Great game selection, nice to have the consoles right at the table. Decent selection of food and drinks, prices are on par as well. Definitely recommend checking it out! Grab a copy of Super smash bros or Mario Kart, and put your friendships on hold for a few laps. Make sure to have a pitcher of beer handy to keep everyone at your table happy.
This place is amazing, if you dont like chill vibes, tasty drinks, and video games...this place is not for you! Food was great!! had the onion rings! Games were fun, seating is not ABUNDANT but it's not a tiny place either. Makes for chill atmosphere!! PLENTY of screens for anyone to nerd out, and the console variety is immense! Service was great and done with a smile!! 5/5 would recommend!
Sowed up at 7pm on a Saturday and it was closed. Had to go somewhere else.
Pros: The vibe was pretty good, and the staff were mostly pretty chill. Really good selection of both beer and games which is pretty sweet. Having lots of consoles available was awesome. Cons: The place is fairly small for how many customers they get, and seemed a little understaffed as well. Lots of the food and drink we ordered was sold out unfortunately. I also would HIGHLY reccomend against the nachos because it's only the chips and salsa, no cheese or anything else which had no description and the price was not an indicator.
I love the idea of the place, and their selection of games is awesome. The owner is a super nice dude, too. I guess all I have for critiques is: the food portions are super tiny and there is not enough variety; they no longer have draught beer which is a necessity for pubs, IMO; and at least one of the waitresses tries wayyyyy too hard to become involved in your groups conversations. She kept telling stories about customers at her last job, and they weren’t even good stories. Cool place, needs some improvements.
