Winston's English Pub & Grill

Wow! What a place! Great atmosphere here. A wide variety of seating options. When I walked in I took a lap around the pub. It was well lit. Not too bright. A great little nook where some folks were watching the game. A nice big long boardroom style table for group gatherings. Some big soft chairs for being lazy and enjoying a brew. The fireplace looked Very cozy. The beer menu was vast and creative. The servers on the floor were really good too. When I asked them.... tell me about 'beer X' they actually had some knowledge. Even brought a sample of the beer in question. I'm not a bar guy. But this isn't just a bar. I had some wings off the menu and they were super good. The food that was being delivered around the other tables all looked and smelled amazing. Somebody has put some serious work into making Winston's a great go-to place. I will be coming back. My one point of contention was a less than spectacular bathroom experience. There was some parts of the wall missing in more than one place. I don't go to the bathroom for the atmosphere. However I do want to comfortable. It was a great break from my everyday reality. When I walked into the bar. My head said. 'NOOOOOOORRŔRRRRMM!'

Great atmosphere, mains, and beer! Very authentic English style pub. Plenty of TVs and the decor feels very rustic. Steer clear of the "upside down creme brulee" though. It's the laziest thing I've ever eaten! How do they get the caramelized sugar off the bottom???

Best beer selection in the city. Pub food is higher quality bar/English pub food. Large selection of other spirits and what not. Has a rooftop patio with lots of seating at heating. Live bands at least 1 day a week and a large basement that holds more than even the top floor. A secret "heater" of a spot in Saskatoon.

Came in from out of town and loved the pub. Tried the meatloaf dinner as my hubby raved about it the last time he was in town only to find that the gravy has changed from the thick stout homemade to what tasted like powder from a bag mix. Disappointed with that but the meatloaf and potatoes were fantastic tho! Service was awesome as well :) will def be back!

Went for anti-valentine's day with the girlfriends. White hot chocolate martini was delicious!
