Do not give your furniture to this "business". I gave my chair, with fabric that I purchased, to her to be upholstered in the winter of 2016. We exchanged information. Two months later I call and ask the status of my chair. She tells me she is working on fixing some of her own furniture for her home and when she's done with her own furniture she will upholster my chair. I agreed and figured I would just wait. A few months later I tried to call the number she gave me - but it said it was disconnected. I proceeded to write a letter, again asking for the status of my chair. I have since got no reply. It's been a year since I dropped my chair to be upholstered. I have no way to contact the lady who runs this business other than go to her house and confront her. If you are running a business 1) it is expected that you put your customer's first - as in don't upholster your own furniture before a paying customers, and 2) that you give reliable contact information. I'm assuming I'm not getting my antique cherry wood chair back at this point. Do yourself a favor and take your furniture to a professional upholstery place in Grand Rapids, it's worth the money.
