Gun Lake Rentals Boat Rentals, Kayaks, Paddle Boards, Canoe!

This was an amazing experience. I've looked for a place to rent a boat for some fishing with my wife for a little while but everywhere is so expensive and such fancy new boats that they need several hundred dollar safety deposits before you can take it on the water. This was the perfect spot to just have a very laid back, relaxed, awesome experience for a great, reasonable price. We couldn't have been happier! The owner and his wife were very nice and friendly, and let us have some extra time on the water that night for watching the sunset. It was just a great day and night on the water. We will definitely be back for another rental, the owners were too friendly NOT to come back. Thanks again guys!

Come here every summer. The boats are gorgeous and impecably clean. The staff are always pleasant and very helpful. For a rentals business, the service you receive goes beyond the affordable prices.. quite a deal!

We rented a 22' Pontoon and tube this past Saturday (June 10, 2017). This was our first rental with GLR. The staff at the desk AND at the water were very helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. Usually dealing with college aged kids, they can get a little rude or flippant - but these kids were fantastic!! As for the equipment, there was a small rip in the seat and the prop was a little dinged - but they took a picture of the prior damage so we wouldn't be held responsible, which was very decent. Other than those two insignificant details - the boat was immaculate and everything was in perfect working order. We were out for 8 hours, had a blast, and enjoyed our day so much. Thank you for a wonderful experience GLR!! We will definitely be renting again soon.

To add to Erika's review, we found them bald face lying about several communications. Claiming they talked to us to set up a time several months ago when they did not and then on the day of the rental, telling us that they tried calling two different numbers trying to contact us when no numbers were received at either location. One of the numbers was a land line with caller ID so you can't blame cell towers for that. The cell number they supposedly called had complete 4G cell service the entire time. So they cancel our reservation without notice and basically just say too bad. BEWARE!
