Barry County Treasurer

Post office delivered tax payment one day late. Check was cut by my bank on February 7. I was assessed a fee because of the one day. I’ve lived here for 23 years and always on time. I asked to have the fee forgiven. I was told no period. I am deeply disappointed that human common sense can’t be applied. Of course there is no incentive for good customer service, still I had hoped for a more neighborly answer
