Went here twice within a month. The first time was FANTASTIC the second time was fine Will go back again. Ace adobo and chicken wings!!! Gave some feedback to the kitchen on the how the beef was cooked so hopefully it's better now. Would recommend. Wonderful atmosphere :
My first time trying Philippino food. High quality and the best service I've had in a restaurant all year. Very high quality ingredients and massive portions. Looked like a fun place to party with family and friends. Felt very authentic from the decor
I was Visiting from Ottawa, when I google Filipino restaurant in Calgary, and this Bario fiesta restaurant pop out. First thing I’ve noticed was the clutter of many plant, some of them were dying, crowded of traditional Pilipino ornaments. I ordered topsilog, tapasilog which is traditional Pilipino breakfast I also ordered sisig. All the dishes were presented traditionally. All were tasted good, service was good and attentive. I will going back there again and have different dishes.
The sisig was great and the crispy pata are good as well however when the lady was taking our order she didn’t wrote it down, the crispy pata came first follow by bulalo soup and then the spring roll and as i expected she forgot the fried rice which came out last, nicely eh hehehe. Also don’t forget to check your bill she might mixed it up.
This was our first experience with authentic Filipino food. We liked the decor and the spaciousness of the restaurant. They mistook us for being Filipino and we didn't realize until later that they were speaking Tagalog to us. Ordered the Adobo Chicken, Kare Kare, and for dessert, Halo Halo. Overall everything tasted good. The Adobo was a little saltier than we've had in the past but the chicken was very tender. Having a Thai chili in the Adobo Chicken was nice so that we could make it a little spicy. The Kare Kare was a little cool but had a nice strong peanut taste and the Sambal was strong. The pork and pork fat were delicious. The Halo Halo was nice and sweet and they gave us a bowl to mix it in since I was doing a terrible job in the plastic cup. Overall a good meal in a nice setting.
Food is great! Serving sizes are good for 2 people already. Price is somewhat fair.Food: 5/5
Because of the pandemic restrictions, we were only allowed to order for take out. Ordered a lot for a family member's birthday. Food was fresh, warm with good, decent portion sizes. Ordered kare-kare with nice amount of vegetables and beef. Seafood sinigang with fish and big shrimps and mussels. Palabok was warm, and ofcourse pork sisig was amazing. They have a 3 table patio infront of the restaurant, hopefuly when everything goes back to normal, live band shows will resume also. Location: Good Food: 9/10 Waiting time upon ordering: 10-20 mins peak time Ambiance and Cleanliness: 9/10 Cost: 8/10 Parking Accesibility: 9/10 Customer/ Vendor Service: 9/10 Abiding to Pandemic Health and Safety: 10/10
I'm not against tipping, but I feel like they should do better with informing their customers of the gratuity tip. My friends and IJust the four of us had our dinner here to enjoy Filipino food. The food was good and the experience was ok since the server was kinda rude. When I asked for the bill, the server handed over the payment terminal with the tip screen immediately displayed. Without hesitation, I gave a 10% tip. But when I asked for the receipt, she just told me to take a picture of the receipt without the tip and didn't give me a copy. To my surprise, when I took a closer look at the receipt, gratuity was already included which doubled her tip.
Ate Myla was AMAZING, she made this an amazing birthday celebration for me and my friends last night. The food was amazing, the experience was amazing and she made it even better for me and my friends. If you’re looking for authentic filipino food and a good experience with friends and family go here and ask specifically for Myla. Now sure why other reviews were negative but I and all 20 of my friends, disagree
Great food just need to add more pieces specially on the wings. And It would be better if you serve buckets of beer and add more choices on the menu. Overall it's great!Food: 4/5
