If I could give less stars I would. Dr. Barrett was judgemental, shaming and rude. He made assumptions about me and my oral health that were patently false, and then used those assumptions to judge and shame me for the remainder of my appt., regardless of what I said. He told me that when not if my child get cavities, it will be a direct result of my own oral hygiene “failings”. He then proceeded to book me in for 3 x90 minute appointments without actually telling me what was wrong with my teeth or what work needed to be done. Afterward, I called to speak with the dental hygienist who cleaned my teeth to debrief my experience and ask questions. She too was taken aback by his behaviour, but in the end excused it by saying “some days he’s like that” and “he has a lot going on personally”. I do not recommend seeing dr Barrett. However I have no complaints about the other staff, they were lovely.

This guy is my new hero. I would rather come between a sow Grizzly and her cubs than go to a dentist. I have extreme anxiety due to an issue with freezing, and for the most part of my life the freezing did not take. Feeling the drill on almost all of my fillings, gives my some sort of fear that I cannot explain. Dr. Barrett is THE ONLY dentist I have had that can freeze my mouth properly. His staff is professional, and their taste in music is ideal. Highly recomended. The day this man retires is the day I get all my teeth pulled because nobody else is allowed to work on my teeth.

I wouldn’t go anywhere else, always very professional, amazing staff and very accommodating.

Absolutely hands down the most amazing and caring dentist around. I have problems with taking to the freezing and he made sure I was frozen and comfortable during my procedure today.

He was good for a few years and than I would not except a very poorly made night guard he got so angry. He sent me a letter stating I was never allowed to come back there. I wouldn’t have anyway. Never seen a professional act that way!

Best dentist around! The staff are always incredibly helpful, informative and professional!!
