You know that you have had an incredible dining experience when you frequent the establishment twice during a 7 day vacation! Top notch service for my family of 4 from both Zena and Debbie. One of my kids inhaled her fettuccine Alfredo and declared that it was the 'best ever!' The portion sizes are huge- we left both times armed with leftovers for several meals. Loved the restaurant atmosphere- felt like home. Only wished we lived closer!
This restaurant has nice interior decor. We ordered regular wings and the pasta & salad combo from the lunch menu. The portion was good for our small appetite as we had a late lunch. The server was very busy taking care of a few tables at the same time. She may not of have time to pay attention to us. Near the end of the meal, she served us used butter with the complimentary bread.
The Barrel always slaps. Solid marinara sauce. Incredible house dressing. We've been here about 8 times and it is always great! Bring back all you can eat spaghetti!
This was our first time at this restaurant and we really enjoyed it. Our meals were excellent Tuscan chicken sandwich, pictured, and Italian melt. The best thing about this restaurant was the staff. They were so friendly and engaging. Definitely will be back on our next trip to Fort Erie.Food: 5/5
I've been coming here from Kitchener for years now and it never disappoints. The best pizza and wings combo! The service is great and the dining room is quite large. I highly recommend it!!Food: 5/5
We came to Fort Erie for the weekend my wife, son and I. We were at the hotel deciding what to have for dinner as we were tired and didn't want to go out. Well, thanks to Google reviews, we decided to order from The Barrel. What a great decision it was. Since we called in to make the order, the female person on the phone was very pleasant to talk to, very polite and professional. Their delivery was very fast and their food was out of this world. If the food was so good for delivery, I can imagine how awesome it would be to dine-in at The Barrel. We will definitely order again and we will go to their restaurant as soon as we have an opportunity. Fully recommended Update Aug 22nd 2021 Due to the great experience with the food last night, we decided to come to The Barrel restaurant. The restaurant itself was very clean and well maintained. Even better of what I imagined. We my wife, my son and I got served by Michan. She was wonderful. Very polite, kind and helpful. The food was amazing... totally worth it. We will definitely keep coming back when in the area. Fully recommended

We went to the Barrel tonight for my granddaughters birthday dinner it’s her favourite restaurant There were 12 of us and everyone loved their food. I had the Thai Chicken ~ so delicious and portion was big enough I’ll be enjoying the leftovers for lunch tomorrow!! the servers were all very friendly & the prices are reasonable. Will definitely be going back!
First time visit.. soup was served cold and she said that she could warm it up. It took 20 min . Microwave ? My friend ordered Wings and after an hr of waiting for our food was told there was no more wings . The table behind us came in after us and recieved wings 20 min ago .She was told she could have rice pudding as a complimentary desert .I ordered pasta an it was supposed to come with Bread . The bread was served as soon as we sat down and we were told it was for the table . So every one ate it as we were hungry. So an hr later when the pasta was served, I asked for bread that was to come with the meal and was told by the server I already brought it . ? All in all the food was good but for FIRST impressions no good , would I give them a second chance. Yes
Really wonderful business owners. I had to add after we had dinner there it was the best food ever. I have lived in Canada for 20 years now and the pizza was the best ever had here. The whole party attending said the food was great too. Baked ravioli was outstanding and the chicken parm was great too our son said. Service was excellent.
