This place is amazing regardless of what Margaret Peterson’s review states. Looks like her review history is based on burritos, different restaurants specialize in different tastes but still need to have something for everyone to enjoy. Variety. Keep up the great work Barrel House and hopefully Margaret will give you another chance.

Amazing place to eat. Burgers are to die for and the fish and chips are amazing! Best service ever.... Napkin are also high quality, got to have high quality napkins!!

Wow, what a great place! The service was great the beers were good and the food was amazing. We found this place on accident but we will be back for sure. My wife really liked the watermelon margaritas, and the draft choices were good too.

Outstanding service, food and atmosphere! Prices are very reasonable. A must when visiting Du Buque, IA. Bride and I shared the avocado and chicken wrap with sweet potato fries. Halfway through I was wishing that I had ordered my own! So good!

We were just passing through and when we saw the menu of classic pub grub we were glad we did. The food was just as good as it looked plus our waitress Audrey deserves five stars as well for her service and putting up with us. I highly recommend.

My wife and I have ate her twice the second time we got an appetizer of there pulled pork nachos. They are the best nachos I have ever had. Are definitely something to check out.
