About

A Great Little Pub located on the corner of Main and Hwy 47 in Historic Downtown Carlton, Oregon.

Story

Situated in the heart of wine country, on the corner of main and Highway 47, Barrel 47 brings casual dining and a relaxing environment to Historic Downtown Carlton.

Our full service bar features 6 beers on tap including 2 of our own microbrews. Local wines are featured by the bottle as well as by the glass. Specialty cocktails round out our bar menu. All of our libations are served from behind the beautiful hand crafted bar, built by local artisan Tom Alfsen.

Our kitchen is led by local legend Bono Solorzano. Our contemporary American cuisine provides our patrons with a wide variety of choices, from small bites to Prime Rib. Weekly specials compliment the menu and add seasonal flavors to keep things exciting.

Service was a little slow to get to us but once they did it was amazing and fast. The barrel burger may have set a new standard for the burger. Cooked to perfection, every bite was full of flavor. Amazing atmosphere. Live music was louder than i like it but that is me. Can not wait to go again.

Stopped in for a quick late lunch after wine tasting, server was very friendly, it wasn't busy at the time. Atmosphere was nice. Good options on the menu, average prices.

Get the fish tacos. They are delicious. They're also the only gluten free option on the menu if you don't feel like salad, which kind is why they lost a star from me, but at least they were amazing! Service was attentive and patient with a very large group that was maybe already inebriated from wine tasting. Kudos!

Excellent Bangers and Mash (sausage, mashed potatoes, carmelized onions...) Burger juicy, condiments fresh and colorful. Mushroom soup with andouille sausage a culinary delight! Top service, beverage kept filled...enjoy! Will return

Came in for dinner on the way home from work. Sign said to please seat yourself so we did. Sat down and waited for server to come over and give us menues... and waited.... and waited. Server went to another table that arrived after us and passed out menus and took drink orders, then headed back to the bar and started eating her pasta. We left after about 20 minutes. I'm sure that pasta she was eating was really tasty. We wouldn't know.
