Barous' Family Restaurant

UPDATE BELOW. This was my 1st time at Barous' and I am impressed with their all day breakfast! I had the best in Concord NH sausage white gravy. Home fries are real pan-fried potato seasoned well, and waffle and strawberry was great. Next time I want to try their dinner offerings. Can't wait! UPDATED 6/2017: Quality of both food and wait staff has seemed to drop over the past year. Removed 2 stars.

My husband and i went for dinner and unfortunately where very disappointed. I ordered the meatloaf dinner and recieved 3 fried to a burn pieces of some sort of pressed meat. My husband ordered the pork chops and received 2 small pork chops. Small scoop of mashed potatoes. He was still hungry when we left. Overall not a good experience.

Tasts good and, good quality. Our waiter was very nice and didn't get impatient with my ridiculously picky mother. In fact, we had dinner there one evening and lunch there the next day. We will go back.

Great food, breakfast selection is awesome! I recommend the South of the Border omlette, or some bacon stuffed pancakes! Only complaint I've had is not the best on coffee refills but a lot of places seem to be slow on that.

Great food and service. I have been there many time and the food and service are consistent. I would recommend the restaurant to anyone

My fiancé and I walked in at 7:15 on a Thursday night. I get it they were closing at 8:00, but I mean come on. No one was there to greet us, we stood there for 2 mins before until an elderly woman only came half way to meet us. She stopped at the table she wanted us to eat at. Said “ Thank you guys for waiting to be seated I was eating my dinner”. Then simply walked away and said nothing else to us. There was about 6 other tables in use at this time. Very quite, but clean. My fiancé and I were the youngest by at least 20 years. We sat there for 15 mins, no one said anything to us, was never even given our drinks or even asked if we wanted them while waiting for our waitress to come over. No one ever came over to take our drink or food order. Finally after about 20 mins, the elderly woman that sat us down came over and asked what we wanted to drink. I told her kindly “ Thank you but I think we are gunna leave” her responds “Why?”. I said “Because you’ve been sitting here for a while and no one has said anything to us”. So we got up and walked out. You can make your own option, but we will never go back

This place is fantastic! The food was great and the customer service was incredible! We will definitely be regulars after today. I'm so excited we found this place!

Visited the restaurant today had great food but terrible service the wrong items were given and had to be sent back multiple items. Not once did the staff ask how anything was or check in on us. When the bill came we mentioned the food that was wrong was on my bill still and the waitress took it to fix came back to the table took my card without me looking at bill again and ran the card thru. the price was the same never changed

Food is ok. They say they are open at 7am. Not always. Been there at 7:10 and place is locked and no one is there. Question the waitress about it the next time and she swears she's always there. Don't bother with this place for early morning breakfast.

Older style, traditional family restaurant. Good food, traditional dishes and Greek dishes, nice staff. Nothing fancy or unusual but certainly worth going to if you like the traditional style menu and atmosphere with some Greek thrown in.
