This place was amazing, the entire staff was so friendly and our waitress, Mercedes, was attentive and helpful with the menu and provided great suggestions. I like finding breweries with kitchens, usually they do a better execution on the food than most gastro pubs because they keep the menu smaller. I was very impressed, by far the best Nashville chicken I have had, tons of flavour, and maintained a great crunch. My son had the fish tacos, easily the best he's had as well. I'm not a big fan of craft beer, but again this place made it hard for me to pick a pint, since they had so many great options. I even took 2 Billy Bishop cans home! I am definitely going back, just have to make an excuse to drive to Barrie!
Barnstormer has a great feel inside blending classic planes and wonderful craft beer.nnI visited for lunch on a Monday and there were some people there inside and the service was good. My server was quick, attentive and friendly.nnThere's also some outdoor seating, but it's not a huge area. I would've said outside but the weather wasn't very nice.nnInside, there is lots of seating. It's got a great cozy feel and there are lots of airplane posters on the wall.nnThere was a huge selection of beer from Barnstormer, but they had beer on tap from other craft breweries, which I think is great that they maintain relationships with other brewers.nnI thought the First Class Lager and Mirror Pass IPA were great choices.nnFor food, I kept it simple and had a burger and fries. The burger was fresh and not dry and there were more fries than I expected. I found that a nice touch.nnI would certainly visit again if in the Barrie area.

Yummy food, nice staff, shaded outdoor seating. The salad was good and the bacon fries were incredible, wish I got a pic. I got a mocktail which I enjoyed but cannot recall which one.
