Barney's Drive-In

A nice place to go and get some ice cream after the lake! They are conveniently located right off of the lake and about a mile down from the south boat entrance to clear lake. Walkable by a trail. Wish they had a dock for boats. Ice cream was good, food is all right. Nothing special or homemade. They also have nice drive-in ports similar to an A&w restaurant

Outstanding service with a smile. Had the double bacon cheeseburger and fries with a shake. I woofed it down. Maybe I’ll brave the Barney burger next. This is classic drive-up food with an eclectic feel. I felt the prices were more than reasonable considering the times. Too many haters in this world. Great spot too.

They had an outdoor movie showing, free popcorn, and free ice cream. We ate here before that and the food was amazing. They are pet friendly too. There is seating outside or you can sit in your car and order from the car hop. It's a really fun gem to go to. Really is a tbt a different time. Kid-friendliness: You're outside. You can most definitely bring your kids. It's very family friendly. Parking: You can park at the car hop or behind the building. It's a small establishment so there's not a lot of parking outside of car hops. Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchairs can easily reach the counter/window in the front of the building where you can order from as well as car hop stations.

I loved the idea of an old school Drive Up, service was good food was just okay. I had taco in a bag and hot dog with what I think was chili or some kind of ground meat product and cheese sauce. The taco in a bag was meh and the dog was not my jam. The rest of the family had burgers, corn dogs and those looked much more appetizing. Id normally give it 2 stars but it gets an extra star for the novelty and normal fast food fair was decent the rest of the family had

Food was good. Menu has a lot of choices. Really nice location where you can see the lake. Also nice that they have some booths if you don't want to sit in your car to eat.

We ordered 3 dbl deluxe baskets and was given 3 bacon dbl deluxe sandwitch no basket then brought us fries after we ask about them being baskets. They charged all separate. Then shortly after eating we were not feeling best. I did like decore and drive up and order like old days. Could've been new staff just learning.

You do not get to choose the pieces on a 1/4 chicken dinner.. it is either all white or all dark and they charge extra for all white. So if you want one of each you are SOL. I did ask more than once about it. The 'side' of coleslaw comes in what you normally get your condiments in. It is a very small side. The burgers are thin. The BBQs didnt have much meat on them either. The fries were soggy. The prices are high.

Barney's Drive-in is a great treat for all ages. It is located in a beautiful location across from the lake. The food is excellent. There is a great selection of menu options to choose from. The service is very friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend!

We stopped for a late lunch and ordered the "brown bag" special. The service was quick! The burgers were average and the fries were a little soggy. The root beer was delicious! Overall, it was a fun experience and we enjoyed eating under the vintage drive-in canopy with a view of the lake. The menu is pretty large, so we might try a different meal next time. The treats looked really yummy as well.
