This business is a rare combination of competence, kindness and efficiency. Their estimate is guaranteed. They bring plenty of very good, pleasant workers to ensure all furniture is handled well. They are great with antique pianos and other difficult furniture too. They also arranged to have our pool table disassembled and then assembled at the other end. The move was around 500 miles and they communicated well with us for their timing. I cannot say enough good things about them and highly recommend them.

I have been meaning to write this for quite some time, but better late than never I hope. I hired Barnes for my long distance move. I admit that I probably could win a prize for most nervous person in hiring a mover. However, the level of professionalism and conscientiousness I received from all employees - from the office staff to the movers to the truck driver - was outstanding. Additionally, due to a blizzard, I was delayed by one day, but my driver Brian uncomplainingly rearranged his schedule to accommodate me. Every last item was carefully accounted for and delivered unscathed. It was a pleasure to do business with them. I cannot recommend Barnes strongly enough. You won't be disappointed.

Helped me with getting a weigh ticket, easy and fast. Even gave me a new one when I needed my husband's name on it instead of mine. Excellent people, very friendly.

We were very satisfied with our experience. Drivers at both pick up and delivery were on time, courteous and friendly. Everything arrived intact and in good shape. The only glitch was that a chair and one box was missing from delivery, however one of the crew immediately set off to get them and were delivered shortly thereafter. I highly recommend them

With service over the years becoming less and less, I was pleasantly surprised at the excellent and professional service I had using Barnes Moving and Storage. Dean came to the house and made an accurate assessment of what it would take to move me 1200 miles, with all my stuff. The packers were excellent, asking questions as they went along on what was important (high value items), and handled everything with extreme care-more than I handle it while in my own care! The moving and unloading crews were excellent on details. No damages and everything accounted for before they left the scene. I highly recommend this company without any reservations....I would use them again, anytime.
