I never would have thought I would ever have to write a negative review for a local business. My husband and I worked diligently to come to some sort of agreement with this company, unfortunately they do not value their customers or take responsibility for their mistakes.
To begin, I called Aire Force One to request a quote on how much it would cost to have my air ducts cleaned because my master bedroom was much cooler than the rest of my home. The owner, Wayne, led me to believe they provided this service and let me know it would be $80 to have my furnace serviced and ducts cleaned. A few days later, the technician came out to our home and informed my husband that they do not clean ducts and instead changed the settings on our furnace blower to force more air out, in hopes it would better heat our master bedroom. He also serviced our furnace and noted it was in great working order. We gave it a few days but noticed our once quiet furnace was now very very loud and it did not resolve our issue with the master bedroom. I was irritated that they didn't clean the ducts as promised, but just wanted my furnace to be quiet again.
We called Aire Force One and asked them to come out and change the settings back to where they were. The owner told us he would send a technician out next time he had one in my neighborhood.
Nearly 2 weeks passed and we didn't hear anything. We woke up the other morning and our house was freezing cold and our furnace was making an obnoxious noise and creating a bad smell. We called Aire Force One immediately as they had not only serviced our furnace and ensured us it was in great working order, but they had also been the reason our motor was turned up so high. They said they would "try" to make it out the same day. I told them it was unacceptable to try and that they needed to come out as soon as possible as I am expecting a baby in the next month and don't need my pipes freezing.
Immediately we learned they were not going to accept any sort of responsibility. I guess it's just a "coincidence" that they changed the factory settings on our motor, ignored our concerns when we called about it being very loud, and now the motor is broken.
After replacing the broken part, we received a second opinion from another HVAC company. They informed us it is never advisable to change the factory settings on the furnace and that was likely the cause of the broken part. It's also unfortunate that I called and simply requested my air ducts be cleaned. I understand you're a business and you were trying to make a profit by providing a different service than what was requested, but I wish you had simply referred me to another company for air duct cleaning. Your technician serviced our furnace and said it was in good working order, yet less than 2 weeks after making your adjustments and receiving a "clean bill of health" it breaks. We have never had any issues with our furnace until we blindly accepted your advice.

The guys who came to fix our non-draining bathtub were very friendly and professional. However, they didn't have the tools to fix it and recommended another company.
