Bought a $850 Humidifier (centralized installation on furnace unit) Breakdown: My family invested $500+ for a product that operated for 5 months. Now its a $500 Enerflamme paperweight. As of today, the unit is not working and equals profit for Enerflamme, a useless product for my family. I called Enerflamme and the technician came and verified the unit was not installed correctly and made adjustments by cutting out the sheet metal opening to allow the filter to enter correctly. HOWEVER, when this repair was complete, the unit still would not work. Here is the breakdown of the visits so far... I am not happy as the problems and costs are being added to my family when the Enerflamme company caused this with a faulty installation. Visit #1: Improper Installation (paid for unit and installation). I took the day off from work. Visit #2, Part 1: Corrected physical installation problem although unit not working (no charge for repair). I took the day off from work. Visit #2, Part 2: Attempted get the unit working but without success. It was determined that the inappropriate installation caused the filter to direct water into the electonics and over time this permanently damaged the circuit board (part replacement). I was asked to pay $57.43 for technician's time even though the unit could not be repaired and the damage is a result of the original installation. A new part would need to be ordered and another visit scheduled to complete the repairs. Visit #3: NOW WHAT? The technician acknowledged the problem was the installation. I now need to take another day off work, pay the Enerflamme service charges (see below) and what else? The Product: 5-year manufacturers parts warranty on the product. The Installation: 1-year Enerflamme warranty (problem manifested itself in year 2, but unit only worked for 5 months) One Year after Installation: $99.99 for first hour, $49.99 each 1/2 hour thereafter.

Just don't hire them. Pay someone more, for an actual proper installation..... I was impressed with their quote, and thoroughness during that process, so we hired them to install new AC, Hot water tank, and furnace (+10k) job. You do not get follow up service for your money. The furnace and hot water tank installation were relatively smooth, minor issues, nothing really to complain about. The AC installation resulted in us needing a new basement ceiling, and our ceiling was a drop down ceiling! They broke every tile touched and damaged the track too..... But whatever, what brings me here is that they cut the water lines to our downstairs bathroom, and didn't hook them back up because they didn't have the proper fitting with them. Then it became "they aren't plumbers and aren't able to hook the waterlines back up". Nevermind all the plumbing they did for the installation..... At one week without a bathroom, we had another plumber come and give us a quote, and I gave them an ultimatum; they then committed to commit to coming to reconnect the waterlines. I waited four days for them to call to schedule reconnecting the lines, when the manager said I would be getting a phone call from them to schedule the reconnection immediately. Called them twice, got hung up on twice. Texted the sales rep I'd been dealing with, got no answer. So on Friday (two business weeks after the installation), I scheduled the second plumber to come reconnect the waterlines the following Monday (two full weeks after they cut the waterlines). At two weeks without a bathroom, we had the second plumber come, and then they finally called to schedule reconnecting the waterlines when the second plumber was reconnecting the lines. Oh, and they just left the waterlines for the toilet hanging out behind the hotwater tank; totally inaccessible with how the water tank was installed. And the icing on the cake, one of their workers took urinated in the toilet, after the water was shut off and I did not see it until a week later. Fun times. Moral of the story, cheaper isn't always better. And they are refusing to pay for the reconnection, even though the second plumber is billing at cost only......

Dealt with salesrep for wall air conditioning units. Unfortunately our house is a log home and we don't have air ducts so we needed a wall unit solution with enough BTU's for a 2400 square foot home. Salesman Chris was super professional and helped us pick the right units and the price and warranty was more competitve than other brands we had looked at. Really no complaints dealing with this company compared to others we have dealt with. I recommend these guys for your future heating or air conditioning needs.
