Came into bar one today and was greeted by Kristin. She was amazing and very knowledgeable about the menu. The restaurant is very clean and overall a great environment, awesome music aswell. I felt very welcomed and will definitely be returning!

Ordered from here via skip the dishes and I am really disapoointed in the quality of the food received and surprised by the packaging.  Their website and prices make it look like they are a decent restaurant but what you receive is no better than what you would get at a Denny's except you are paying more.  I use Denny's specifically because that is whose logo was on all of the packaging. Paid an extra 3.50 for a ceaser salad side and got a container that was half full of wilted lettuce, and cheddar cheese? Save yourself some money and just go to Denny's.

We went to Bar One for a late dinner and a few drinks, nice atmosphere and great service. We had the pleasure of being served by a young gal by the name of Hailey, wonderful service, a genuine interest in her clients and a great smile. Thank-you for making a long day great with fantastic service and a great attitude.

We came in on a very quiet hockey night, before the sports fans, and our server, Hailey M. was an absolute delight! She accommodated us at our request by changing the channel from Sports to Nature while we were waiting for our meal. She is a lovely commodity to this establishment and is excellent in her position! The food was also absolutely amazing! This is really, very much, a hidden gem that we personally would like to keep to ourselves!

This place is an ABSOLUTE hidden gem in Calgary! I stayed at the hotel attached for 3 months and it was awesome, the staff Brad and Hailey are such awesome down to earth people, this place felt like home. Awesome service, great food highly recommend the tacos!! and all around great environment. 7/5 stars. Enjoy

We have visited twice in the past week. Our first visit was Aug 1st just before closing. We had excellent service and the woman working was incredibly kind and the food was fantastic. We returned for the Taco and Corona special On Aug 3rd at 4:30 and the waitress working was absolutely horrible. The tacos were a dry piece of breaded chicken and a pile of plain cabbage. It was next to impossible to get the waitress’s attention to order something new. When I finally did, she said “you didn’t like the tacos”. Just a comment, she didn’t ask what was wrong, we just felt like an inconvenience. She was cold and barely even spoke to us. We felt uncomfortable and wanted to leave.

Bar One is a great environment and awesome service. The bartender Fanny was a great conversation and helped me ease the fact I was away from home. The service was excellent and food was severed in a timely manner and drinks cold. Cheers Bar One! Til the next time.
