Top notch service. Very friendly and helpful staff. With such a big menu the suggestions were very much appreciated! Complimentary sweet tea was a great touch. 3 tasters for $7 for the cheese cake as well as the same cost for the wine. Great to have some local wine options. I felt this was excellent value. Didn’t think I’d ever say this, but I honestly feel like they could raise their prices!
Went in planning to grab a cheesecake and go home. The hostess offered us a table and the vibe was so homey we agreed. They offered complimentary hot or iced tea as well as pineapple. Didn't realize this place offered cheesecake and wine tastings upon sitting down! Prices are very reasonable at the time of this writing, each tasting was $7, comes with 3. Most of the wine offerings are berry wines. I sampled the Berry Contusion, Blackberry Bewitched, and Raspberry Riot. The first was a bit sweet, but the last two were very good. The cheesecakes were unique! Loved the Bar Harbor Blue, Pistachio and Irish Mudslide. Our hostess gave great suggestions, was patient and friendly. This seems to be a family owned and run business, and they do an incredible job of making their guests feel welcome and taken care of!
This place is amazing. It’s hard to convey when five stars is the standard for great, but I really had a perfect experience here. We started with amazing iced and hot teas on their beautiful outdoor patio watching the setting sun. The cheesecake flight we chose was white chocolate raspberry, classic New York, New York “sin-roll” cinnamon roll wrapped, and amaretto. They were all delicious and fluffy. Our server was hugely attentive and kind. I felt amazingly relaxed after visiting, and would absolutely recommend an evening visit to this place-we’ll definitely be coming again whenever we visit Bar Harbor.
This place has got some of the best cheesecake flavors I've ever had. I highly recommend ordering the cheesecake flights. You choose 3 flavors from the 100+ different flavors they circulate through. Then they bring you out a small piece of each of the 3 flavors you chose.
Wonderful. The staff were all very helpful and attentive. Our waitress was excellent, we asked what her favorite cheesecakes on the menu were and got some delightful insights. We each got a Cheesecake Taster $7, a flight of 3 different cheesecakes. My wife picked some of her favorite flavors Pistachio, Dark Chocolate Orange, and Coconut Key Lime. I chose the Dark Chocolate Cherry, chocolate Peanut butter, and Red Velvet. They were all fantastic! I even liked the Pistachio and Chocolate Orange even though I don’t usually go for those flavors Key Lime is not my thing, but my wife really liked hers! There are many more options we hope to try in the future! The cheesecake is fairly light almost has a whipped quality to it.
Fantastic! Great selection of both sweet and dry wines. My wife and I each enjoyed a three-glass flight of wines and we shared a flight of three different cheesecakes!! They were great. And very economical. All for $25.
Would give this 6 stars if it was possible. Did the wine and cheesecake tasting. Such a cute and fun experience and reasonably priced too. The staff was the sweetest and so welcoming! Really loved this place and it was our favorite place on our trip to Maine. Highly recommend it!
We went here twice during our trip to Bar Harbor and I wish it was more. Every single sample we tried was top notch, plus the addition of the premium tea and pineapple slices just made this a must visit. The people here care, plain and simple.
This is the cutest most wonderful restaurant. We had a charcuterie board for 2, and tried all the local wines on the menu. Followed by a cheesecake taster board. Ironically, I don’t usually like cheesecake but this was truly phenomenal. Every bite was delicious. I would highly recommend visiting this place if you’re looking for a beautiful place to have dinner, great customer service, wonderfully unique local wines try blueberry bliss!, European cheese, and some dessert!
Such a lovely place we visited during our stay in Bar Harbor. The staff is so friendly. We tried their cheesecake taster - Cookie dough, Strawberry, Tripple chocolate chunk, butterscotch, Caramel Machiato and Dark Chocolate Mint Bark. Sampler size was good for the price. Also they offer complimentary tea and fruit for the table.
