I really cannot give it more than 3 stars. Not the best ice-cream shop I've been too. Looks great from the outside and even inside interior designing is great. Very presentable. The ice-cream was sub par. I got the salted caramel one and it tasted like gasoline. Maybe it's that one flavour. The short lady was also very rude. There are many ice cream places, you should give us a reason to come back, not drive us away.
Banter’s ice cream is phenomenal! My wife & I went last night for the first time and despite showing up at 8pm the place was packed, which is pretty amazing for a cold evening in January! We tried 4 different flavours & they were all delicious, true to their flavours in the most authentic home-made way! They’re easily in my top 3 all-time ice cream shops & definitely the best I’ve had in Vancouver/Fraser Valley. The staff were all very nice as well. They have a cute little eating area inside but it is very small two tables and a beautiful deck to eat on as well. The only thing I can think of to tell them to improve on is to add some propane heaters to the outdoor porch to make hanging out there in the winter a more enjoyable experience.
The ice cream here is amazing!! It’s pricey but well worth it. I make sure to go in at least monthly to try their feature flavours. The cinnamon toast crunch and lemon curd are two of our faves. The staff are friendly and are quick to serve. The line is long in the summer but worth the wait.
Our new go-to dessert place... if you are craving beautifully made ice cream with original or traditional flavours, this is the spot. We enjoyed their hazelnut waffle crunch, marble malt chocolate cookie dough, and cold brew coffee. They are so creamy! Only complaint so far is matcha and earl grey need to be more intense! Can't wait to go back and try other flavours!
I would not give you one if had had that option. No sampling, This leaves customers to guess what they would like. I would love to take these folks to Earnest ice cream for a treat. They will be amazed. Earnest ice creams primary focus is customer satisfaction. They are the best. They want you to take a wild guess. It's a hit or miss. My daughter got one. It was too sweet for her. She had to throw it into the garbage The whole thing. Any business does not care for their customers. There's no good energy
Unfortunately not the best ice cream place, both in flavour and in service. I got the salted caramel, the caramel tastes like diesel gas. Very pungent. The girl who handed us our ice cream gave us the dirtiest looks. Very disappointed in the overpriced icecream joint.
Better than earnests and worth the drive. The lemon curd ice cream is perfect. Also smells amazing inside and has a super chill and scenic patio. Forgot to take a picture before digging in so consider it an action shot?
This cute ice-cream shop is in a former library - kind of hard to locate. The flavours are unique; our choices were yummy…very creamy and cold.
Such unique & tasty flavours of both non vegan & vegan ice creams! I really enjoy how there’s a few specialty flavours that they change up each month- such as the Moosetracks pint I included as a photo! The waffle cones are the freshest you can get, sometimes they’re even the slightest bit warm when placed in the bag after purchasing a few to go!
Some of the best ice cream I’ve ever had! They have a wide variety of unique flavors to choose from, and they make their waffle cones and ice cream in house. It’s also situated next to a beautiful park. Worth a stop by!
