I've done business with a number of banks over the years with multiple types of accounts. Bank of Jackson Hole is by far the most unprofessional of them all. Every time I withdraw cash, they ask what I'm using my own money for... yet, they never ask any questions when I wire money into my accounts. Which brings me to my next complaint, this is the only bank I've ever had that charges a $15 incoming wire fee. All my other banks never charge for incoming wires, only outgoing wires. Good luck trying to get anyone on the phone at the local branches, ever since their latest merger/buy-out. I am in the process of closing out all my accounts with BoJH and happy to take my business elsewhere.
This bank used to be great. Then they were bought out by another bank. They are now the worst bank imaginable. Their website is horrible. Their mobile app is horrible. Everything about them has turned from great to horrible. They will respond to this text by saying that they would like to learn more. And they will give a phone number. If you call that phone number nobody ever answers. They don't need to know more. They already know about their problems, but they just don't fix them.
Since merger happened horrible customer service. The previous owners had the best, easy to use app and website. That all changed with the new owners. The new app is not user friendly at all. Same with the new website. You used to be patched through to the local branch when you called in. That is no longer the case.
Do not walk away from this bank, RUN away from them. Since the merger they are absolutely terrible. I feel bad for the folks who work in the branches because they are obviously just as frustrated as customers. You ask them why something is happening and how to fix it and they say "it's really hard to get answers from management" WHAT?? I hope the fat cats who profited from this merger get what they deserve, but they probably won't, in true American fashion.
Beyond sad. This was my first bank. I put my hard earned babysitting money in there. I knew all the tellers and most of the customer service folks. Used to love coming into the lobby to see everyone and grab a Dum Dum. Called today to do a transfer. Took 4 min to get a human. That human, Sandra, was lacking a soul. Cold and unhelpful and unknowledgeable about the fees and products. After nearly 40 years of banking with BoJH, I'm calling it quits...if someone in customer service can do it, that is! I've lost faith.
Bank of Jackson Hole used to do a good job. Not anymore. They don't answer the phone when you call and can't leave a message. I have been trying to get a new card from them for about 5 months now. I get all the other mail they send but for some reason I never get the card, all I get a bunch of excuses and them saying that they will overnight one to me, which never happens
Since the takeover there's been one problem after another. The new app is definitely not user friendly, is down half the time and now you can't even access your account online. Worst service ever!!!
All branch phone numbers unstaffed since merger. I spent almost an hour total trying to speak to customer rep. App is no help either.
While better than the Major Banks, BoJH could do better job servicing its customers. One recent addition to their services is Zelle, which is pretty worthless. They should have saved their money and invested it in something that really offers some advantages to their customers compared to other money transfer programs Venmo, PayPal. BoJH was recently bought by another corporation and it is going to be interesting to see how it changes its operations, if at all. Stay tuned
Used to be great, now, good luck getting any type of customer service. not the same bank it used to be.
