Bancan Kitchen

Though BanCan appears to be more popular for delivery than dining in, it's worth your visit, especially as the weather warms and their two patio tables beckon. Lovely staff, and all the dishes were presented beautifully. Lamb curry, eggplant, chicken biryani, cucumber salad were all really delicious. Good biryani is also harder to come by than it should be, so this place is a welcome addition to the neighbourhood.

Love this place! The food is scrumptious - its beautifully presented and tastes incredible. Absolutely try the onion Bhaji which was the perfect crisp-salty-spicy combo. The staff are also incredibly friendly and attentive. Vegetarian options: FABULOUS vegetarian options. We had no problem accommodating a vegetarian diner.

Absolutely delish! Ordered the Garlic Naan, butter chicken and another Chicken curry dish that I cannot remember the name of. So full of flavor, it has me craving butter chicken everytime I scroll through my photos! Washrooms are a bit dungeon like, but they were clean!

Just had Tandoori Momos earlier. It’s a perfect fusion. It tastes like Chinese soup dumpling but deep fried with a myriad of rich flavours. It even has grilled tomatoes, peppers and onions. Highly recommended.

This Southasian restaurant was one of the most delicious and friendly places I have ever been to. I rarely head into the east end and what A TREAT. I had the butter chicken and chili momo with garlic naan and I TRULY have never enjoyed these dishes so much. Thank you so much for the kind service.

August 15, 2022 My friend brought me here for my birthday today - chicken vindaloo with garlic rice and onion bahjis! So good! May 27, 2021 First time ordering from this restaurant and very impressed! Ordered through Skip the Dishes and they even accommodated my last minute change to make everything spicy! Delicious boneless chicken biryani, onion bahji and chicken pakora!! Will most definitely be back to explore more of their menu. MAY 30, 2021 Went with my Bangladeshi friend today so he could also try this delicious food. Today we had muttar pilau, onion bahji and lamb vindaloo, which we took to eat at a nearby park. He was not disappointed. The lamb was tender and the sauce beautifully spiced. I hope this restaurant stays around for a while. Ignore the 1 star reviews. Some people are just never happy. I find it odd that most of them offer nothing constructive, and they have either NO other reviews, or the places they HAVE reviewed are all in Bangladesh.

Bancan is a restaurant in our neighbourhood that we've been curious about for a little while now, and we are SO glad we finally went last night. Everything we ate was absolutely delicious and carefully prepared, and the staff were lovely. This will now be a regular spot for dinner!! Can't wait to eat there again. I stumbled across this place accidentally and couldn't help notice their korma spacial for dinner at a steal. I was impressed! I did not expect the chicken bone in but I loved it as I love dark meat. Portion was generous. I should have asked for it a bit more spicy, but it was phenomenal regardless. I can't wait to try more food.
