They firmly refused to refund me for the "Green Salad" after I discovered that it is, quite literally, just chopped-up iceberg lettuce...and nothing else. I was blown away by their utter disdain for my complaint. I'm not paying $5.65 for a box of wet iceberg lettuce. Stay away from this restaurant.
As you guys can see. It’s not busy here but I got very bad service here. The food never comes and some tables came after but they have the food comes first. When I ask the girl and all she said just wait. I would like recommend with zero star. We got here early but we got nothing in 2 hours. Bad service ever!!!!
Service was quick, but it really didn't feel like I was receiving the best sushi a Friday dinner price includes compared to other places. The manager was kind enough when we couldn't finish out good to give us a fair price. It just didn't do enough to warrant is to come back despite it being close to home at the time.
They always have amazing food. We love going here. In the past their servers were unpleasant to deal with, yes, but it was in an oddly charming way... It made things memorable somehow. In either case, their new servers are extremely polite and very courteous. They're a well-established place with good pricing and what we believe to be the best sushi in Guelph.
Our servers were friendly, and our food came out pretty quickly since the restaurant wasn't too busy when we arrived. The sushi was good, but the miso soup had very little flavour and the cheese wantons barely had any cheese! They were basically fried wrapping with the tiniest layer of cream cheese that you cannot taste. Near the end, we wanted to order desserts but we spent a lot of time trying to get the attention of a server. My husband ended up walking up to the server at the counter and passing our order sheet. On a brighter note, the beef short ribs are very delicious and the lunch prices are very reasonable considering the prices at other sushi places in Guelph. I would go here again but would not order a few select dishes.
Take out was simply wonderful! Not too sure about table service but the take out dinner we just had was fresh and very enjoyable. We ordered the spider roll, I believe the sushi sun combo and a crab roll to take home. I walked in and was out in around 10 minutes, aside from the time I took to go over their full menu. I'm not a big fan of sushi, turns out it is the rice vinegar normally used, I find it over powering. Bamboo sushi has a wonderful balance where we could actually taste all the ingredients and not just the vinegar in the rice. Looking forward to visiting again!
Ordered delivery and was completely disappointed. Some Sushi was inedible the rest was less than okay. And mango salad is iceberg lettuce with a few strips of mango on top. Sesame balls were the only thing that I enjoyed. I ended up throwing more out than eating. Grocery store sushi is much better.
I have never left an “all you can eat” sushi place more skinny than when I got in. If all you can eat is a couple of scraps of terrible sushi than by God this is the place for you. Not only did the sushi taste like it was made from Goldfish they found in the toilet, the service was absolutely horrendous. The atmosphere felt like a morgue as I could see the souls being sucked out of every hungry customer they had. 27/10 would not recommend this place to anyone trying to eat their $20 worth of food. Might as well pick worms out of the ground and eat them. Sneaky Bamboo sushi, very sneaky.
We have been coming here since it was Hockey Sushi. There had been a few complains but tonight was the worst. We came at 6:45 and by 9 we were told they did not have all the fish that we ordered...They charged us dinner price and we could not get any dinner dishes..even foods were much less than lunch buffet. They charged $25.99/ per person and all we got were a few sushi rolls onion rings, cheese wonton, soup salads, fried rice, and a few more small dishes..what a rip off. They should not had opened if they did not have fish..how on earth a sushi restaurant without fish! It was the worst experience ever!
