The customer service at this restaurant is absolutely fantastic! Whether it’s in the restaurant or ordering over the phone, they are so amazing to deal with. Super friendly and efficient. The food is great too! Highly recommend!
My Husband and I won a Valentine's Day contest with Bambou for a free meal. It definitely brightened our day, especially as we had to celebrate a weekend late as I am a front line worker. Not only did the owner go above and beyond to accommodate us, she delivered it in person the weekend after. She also took into consideration my food intolerances! The won ton soup is excellent, really flavourful won ton's and tasty broth. The egg rolls and garlic spare ribs are also really fantastic and the chicken fried rice had a great amount of seasoning. A really lovely and tasty meal!
Got food here as takeout for a BDay celebration. Everything seemed fine except for the rice. It had a really off-putting smell to it that I couldn't figure out until someone else mentioned it. It smelled like the smell you get when you walk into a barn full of horses. The stalls more specifically. It tasted ok, but I had to stop since the smell was just way off and I had to listen to my nose.
So disappointed !!! I ordered egg rolls and 2 shrimp chow mein and got soybean sprouts and shrimp for 43$. No noodles and no veggies in the chow mein. Never again will I order from here.
Trying to support local, during state of emergency. Order often from this location, portions have gotten smaller and prices have gone up. Website nonfunctional, delivery only after 5pm… placed order at 3:41, received at 5:51…
Good was fantastic! I like that they cut a hole in the top of the chicken ball cover to let the steam out, so it keeps them firm and not soggy.Food: 5/5
Owners of Bamboo, You guys NEED a bigger buffet and you definitely have the room. With the very small selection you offer now,you'd have to cut your buffet price in half. I would totally go to bambou again if the buffet was twice the size...at least. I really feel a little more pride needs to be taken a by the owners and staff. You have so much room and potential in this beautiful town. Also investing in some more official signs to identify food at the buffet would do wonders.
Chicken balls were literally the size of a loonie. As I was waiting the lady infront of me was complaing cause they messed up the order with missing food. As soon as i got my food which I ordered after the gentleman he went to the cash and wanted a refund. The chicken chop and suey was literally just sprouts harldy any chicken in there. I do not recommend for service nor food.
Ordered the dinner A for two and everything was good except the sweet and sour spare rib. Just terrible. Pretty much just bones and sauce and they didn't even looked like the garlic spare rib. Of course it was the biggest portion of the three dishes. Very disappointed.
Today I ordered a combination plate #4. Food was OK.. when I went to pick up my order, the place looked gutted. The lady I spoke to on the phone said I could sit at the bar, but I didn't feel comfortable doing that. I wonder if the owner is going to reopen for dining in, or just cater to take out. I will not return.
