A friend of a friend recommended this place for their Pho which is what I didnt get LOL so I'm keeping an open mind and would want to come back to try their pho. Family friendly: Yes Pet friendly: No Parking: shared lot in strip mall FOOD: 1. Appetizers: Cha Gio crispy egg rolls - mix of pork and carrots, onions, rice vermicelli wrapped in spring roll skin and fried gold brown. Served with fish sauce $8.45 - 3 STARS: Not the best but not the worse. It reminded me of the Americanized egg rolls from Panda Express which isnt a good thing. 2. Vegetarian Entrees: Goi Cuon Chay tofu spring rolls, shredded lettuce, mint, and rice vermicelli with tofu wrapped with rice paper. Served with peanut dipping sauce $7.45 - 3 STAR: it was okay. Nothing amazing about it and could use some seasoning. 3. Appetizers: Banh Mi - Ham $8.45 - 2 STAR: Its like they tried but really didnt want to try... Most banh mi is usually stuffed with a lot of pickled carrots and daikon, cucumber, jalapeno, and meat. Most places if they're not very traditional will use mayo instead of pate but this place used butter. Butter is a first for me and im not sure where their head was. 4. Appetizers: Banh Mi - Pork $84.45 - 3 STARS: Similar complaint with the lack of items in the bread but at least the pork had decent flavor. RESTAURANT/INTERIOR: Unexpectedly larger on the inside. Clean and tidy inside. The majority of the tables were push together to make long rows of table in the which usually you see them separated. MENU: Like most Vietnamese restaurants, you see a good assortment of Pho options, rice plates, and vermicelli noodle bowls. I do wish they had more assorted soup based bowls, especially since this is family run. But I guess do to the location they are catering the the more popular items that non-Vietnamese people are used to. STAFF: Met with who I assume is the husband and wife. Both friendly enough but pretty in line with most Asian restaurants, you're not going for the customer service.
I had ordered several things to go. After I got home and took a bite of one of the rolls, there was hair in the roll as you can see from the photo. I called the restaurant and the man on the phone wasn't listening to my complaint and thought I wanted to order food. After repeating myself several times, I asked to speak to the young girl who had helped me when I picked up, he said she was gone for the day even though it's been less than half an hour ago. Anyway, he said I can drive to the restaurant for a refund instead of giving me one over the phone and quickly hung up on me. Such poor customer service and sanitary conditions. He never bothered to apologize or seemed concerned at all. First and last time visiting this restaurant!
Authentic! You can feel the breath of the wook in your food! Great place to stop in for a quick bowl of vermicelli!!!!! We just got off the highway and found this little noodle house tucked in a small strip center. Vegetarian options: Lots of veggies and tofu of course
Had a great experience with this place over the past year. Place is very straight forward, walk in, the male owner normally beckons you to pick a spot, then hands you the menu. I assume most people do not get pho for the customer-service not saying I've had a bad experience, they take your order, give you the food, and that's about it. Definitely not the restaurant where the waiter checks on you every 5 minutes. The pho comes hot, fast, tasty, and with a big portion while fairly cheap. Personally that's all that really matters to me. Really hope this place doesn't close down as I've never seen more than 3-4 tables occupied.
Phos, rice dishes and bahn mi sanwiches are great!! Price is never changed for years, taste the same. My family's favorite pho place. Food is always fresh and clean. Plenty of sitting areas.Food: 5/5
As a returning customer for many times, the food here is delicious and scrumptious; however, one day I found a piece of hair in my Pho I was dining! I informed the lady, who seemed to be the owner, and she simply threw away the food in front of my eyes and I of course thought they would remake the food…but as I kept waiting it never came. So I asked the lady kindly around how much longer I would need to wait. The lady told me she simply canceled the item off the receipt without informing me, which I think is super important when running a business. In conclusion, the customer service here is poor as I realized the lady had an airpod in her ear, not listening to much of what I was saying and simply seemed as if she does not enjoy her job. I also noticed that the workers here do not check up on customers, such as asking about their food and refilling water. It’s sad to see this and won’t be returning again.
Very sad customer service here by the older female. I’ve been a frequent customer for many years now. I’ve enjoyed their food, though the quality has diminished through the years. But the other day the lady wouldn’t sell me their vermicelli bowl sauce because I had gone to a different restaurant instead of theirs. I HAD to go somewhere else because I was in Seattle, I’m pregnant and was very hungry. Unfortunately, the sauce I got from the place in Seattle tasted like chemicals so I thought I could go to my usual spot to purchase theirs. Instead of selling it to me she enviously was “punishing” me for not going to them first. That if I hadn’t gone somewhere else then she’d sell me her sauce. Pretty sad and pathetic. This kind of customer service really drives people away. I hope that someone from this establishment reads this and changes how they treat their customers.
The curry chicken and vegetable dish I got was very tasty--much better than I was expecting. I'm docking a star for the service, though. We had a large group, including some non-native English speakers, and we were taking a while to explain things to them and help them figure out what they wanted. The waiter was visibly annoyed that we were taking a long time to order and muttered a few things under his breath.
Simply the best Pho in Bothell! Excellent broth, fresh beef and vegetables. The tendon is cooked to perfection. Best of all, prices are fair to cheap! What more do you want?!? Love it!
Second time here and had a delicious meal. Their pho, rice dishes, and spring rolls are great! Friendly service and there is ample parking. There is plenty of seating and their menu is clean and easy to read. I would definitely come back!
