I ordered a chicken roti The size was good the taste was OK but it was 98% potato Maybe a chicken wings worth of chicken in the whole roti. Should be sold as potato Roti. Pictures of roti at different stages of eating it. Not worth $16.00 for a few curry potatoes. In response to the Owner's response . I believe when a customer orders a chicken roti the chicken should come in the roti. I should not have to ask for the chicken After the fact. If you want to provide the chicken on the side provide the chicken on the side. Also I took the roti to go. It should be trusted when a customer orders something that they receive what they ordered. Sorry I stand corrected on your roti price $14.00 plus tax = $15.82. I should not of rounded up to the nearest dollar. And you can clearly see in the different stages of the roti pictures there was not 6 oz of chicken. As an owner you should just take ownership of what happened yesterday we all have bad days. Because clearly in the pictures you can see there is no chicken.
Great food. My Husband said his burger was the best he has had in ages. Onion rings were delicious too. I had wings and they were large and delicious. Fall off the bones.
My elderly father and I showed up ten minutes before closing and they were graciousness itself. No limits on the menu and they started open until we left without passively-aggressively trying to rush us along. The pierogies looked amazing but I find them to be rather bland and the edges were really dry. That mushroom soup, tho! Omg, I would have been happy just eating two or three bowls of it! Robust flavour packed with umami and nice big chunks of mushroom. So delish. Dad had the hot hamburger and he was very pleased with it. The hamburger was a good solid piece of meat, none of that kind with so much filler that it falls apart as soon as you stick the fork in it. The restaurant itself is very classy and the menu is extensive in both number and variety. Next time, I'm going to try one of the lamb dishes or maybe one of the curries. The colour is done in "British gentleman's club" style - dark leather look, olive Green, beige, tan, kind of thing. Our table had its own television mounted on the wall set to the golf Channel, which was showing a documentary about the legendary St Andrew's golf course. Very pleasant experience and the price was reasonable.
The food is Great. Huge menu and prices are really good. It's our new favorite place to eat. Don't let the exterior of the restaurant stop you from coming inside. It's fully renovated inside.
Been there a few times and the staff is friendly, food is great, service is awesome. They’re quick to the table and know what your “usual” is as you walk in after you’ve been there a couple of times. Live music is a big bonus! Overall a good place to eat, and unwind with a beverage.
Have enjoyed lunch and dinner. Menu is huge and has something for everyone. Food tastes great, atmosphere is welcoming and staff are extremely friendly. We recommend to everyone.
Very friendly staff and that means everyone! You would not think a sports bar not in town would have food this good, but the food was excellent. Very tasty, nicely seasoned and lots of flavour. I had the lobster bisque which was amazing with flavour even though I couldn't find any chunks of lobster. I also had the loaded potatoe soup and again, lots of flavour. I also had the spicy stirfry and again, lots of flavour! The portions are pretty big, so no skimping there. Did I mention that the staff were all super friendly? Lots of big screens to watch the game. Definitely worth the short trip off the highway.
The food was excellent and so was the servers. I will definitely be going back again.
Breakfast so delicious one of my favourite place in Cobourg...
Stopped by this evening as my wife and I were passing through Cobourg. We chose to stop at Baltimore John's solely because it was the only place around open past 10 pm, but we were really surprised by the menu size, quality of the food and the portion sizes. The service and friendly conversation from Josh was awesome. Well worth the few minute detour off the 401!
