Balsam Suites Boutique Inn and Residence

What a wonderful place to stay. Most people haven't heard of this place but that's unfortunate as I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay in Timmins. The exterior of the building is deceiving as it looks run down like the rest of the buildings in that area but once you walk into the building, you realize where the renovation budget was spent. A beautiful lounge, fun dining room, amazing rooms with separate bedrooms, fitness room, and if you want to just stay in and cook your own meal, they have a great communal kitchen to use. Between, the staff that treats you very well, to the 24 hour complimentary snack and beverage area, you can't go wrong.

Very unique & eclectic! A home away from home. Comfortable, quiet and awesome waffles. Would definitely come again. Would be great place to stay for pleasure or small intimate business retreat.

Absolutely amazing place to recharge when venturing our great north. Staff is professional and extremely accommodating. Breakfast is simply the best in town, and is only offered to guests. What more can I say 😀
