A very very busy location. Baked bread combinations are amazing. Fluffy and soft. Always fresh. I was surprised to see that the pricing on some breads to be a dollar more than other locations so I couldn't give it a full 5 stars.Food: 4/5
Pleasantly surprised by this place. The prices are unreal and the quality and portions were really good. The employees kept bringing out fresh trays of food to replenish their stock. Check out was smooth and efficient. For 2 sandwiches, 2 desserts and a Bao bun we paid just $13! I want to try the lobster roll next. For $7 it's a steal
The bun store is always busy but the foods are fresh and valuable cost effective. Just expect delay on line up and the mall is always having loud events. Usually buy 6 buns will be $20 no tax with 6 bunsFood: 5/5
Sesame ball @ $1.50 each is standard pricing. However, the red bean fillings are cut back to less than a quarter filled. When they first added this item, it was 3/4 filled and maybe higher in price can't really remember. Apparently, they have heeded my comment and filled up the Sesame balls. The cashier service is slow most of the time and the line up procedure haphazard. To speed up the checkout, all buns should be pre-packed thus saving cashier checkout and adding hygiene practice with customers hand picking and touching the buns. With their new meal orders, they loudly shout out the customer's order across the Food Court. Instead, they should use the electronic buzzer when the dishes are ready to pick up. Management is obviously lacking and care less!
They opened a second location in Woodside Square!! Don’t think they have the lobster roll here, but they have their other buns like the New Orleans fried chicken bun and hand steak sandwich highly recommend both Tried the charcoal bamboo angus beef burger and it was pretty average, but a better deal than a quarter pounder from McDonald’s
I have been to the other location and it seemed fine. But this is meant to be a new location, but most of the sandwiches are not up to par. I got 2x lobster rolls, 2x curry beef buns, one Angus beef roll and one fried chicken nugget roll. Firstly, although the lobster roll was pricey and the meat was small, but it had good flavour and was nice. The chicken nuggets was ordinary as I could have gone to McDonalds and filled it up in a roll myself for a cheaper alternative. The next ones were oddly bad. The beef in the Angus roll is 100% not Angus as it had lots of grizzle and tendon. Also the meat tasted as if it was saturated in baking soda to tenderize it, so there is no beef flavour. Similar to the curry beef buns as its just beef grizzle in curry sauce. You would expect a newly located establishment to project a good authentic image but unfortunately whoever is making the filling is using cheap ingredients. So in conclusion the standard for the beef is poor but the lobster roll compensates for the 1 star.
I saw many people there and give the place a try. It has many innovative bakeries. Reminded me of Taiwan style. Japan+western style. Love all of the buns. They are in affordable price between $2-3
Great bakery with plenty of both sweet and savoury options in addition to a small variety of drinks! The staff were constantly adding new items to shelves and were quick assisting with checkouts. The cake slices were on special for $1.50 when we went. Just be sure to bring cash if you go as it might be cheaper!
Elevated Hong Kong buns. There are some interesting items. I only tried a couple of the savoury ones and they were solid. Service is not friendly and inefficient.
This Baker Duck location loses some stars compared to their Denison original location. Unfortunately, they don't sell their infamous and delicious Chicken Pies. Instead, there is a fridge section that sells cold Cantonese soup desserts. This location is brightly lit, so it makes the buns look better than usual. Quick and efficient service by staff to pack your purchases to cash you out.
