Baked expectations is located on Osborne Street in Osborne Village. It is an absolutely wonderful place to go to if you’re a cheesecake enthusiast!. They have a wide variety of cheesecakes as well as hot drinks, including tea, coffee, and espresso. Wonderful service and plenty of seating!. Parking is a bit of a challenge but street parking is available at limited hours. I highly recommend.
We went there to try their hot chocolate of the month and have a snack. I had a torte , Shmoo Torte . The other party I was with had some kind of cheesecake that had shortbread on it.I can't remember it.I just remember it with fantastic.nMy Shmoo Torte was absolutely fantastic. You have to get there early because there's not a lot of choices.Sometimes when you go in, just due to the popularity of baked expectations.It has been around for so many years and it never disappoints. The gentleman that was helping us, well going around helping all the tables was fantastic. There is nothing bad I can say about baked expectations anytime I go.nIf you really need to feel the experience of Osborne, in winnipeg manitoba, this establishment needs to be on your list of go tos.
I usually don’t go on Google review to complain about local businesses and I love Baked Expectations. But for $16 a piece you have really gotten slim with your cutting. this looks like half of the slice I used to get for less money.nA friend told me to stop going there and go to the Greek market and buy three pieces for the price that you sell one. I prefer the variety at Baked but this becoming robbery.
Over the past decades we have regularly enjoyed the Tia Maria Torte. Something has happened where the biscuits are now dry and crumbly and there is hardly any whipped cream spread throughout the layers except possibly a dollop in the center of each layer.nnIn the past, the cookies were dipped and soft and the whipping cream was more liberal.nnDisappointed
Wonderful service at this bake shop. The staff are friendly, professional, and clearly trained to interact well with customers. The employee who assisted me even taught me how to cut the cake properly. Small gestures like that make a big difference. Highly recommend.
