Bake Sale

Very upsetting experience! I purchased a cookie decorating kit for my Christmas get together as I had done so last year and it was great for the family. Unfortunately I got home and took out the tubes of icing to find very liquid and separated icing that would not combine. The kids were extremely disappointed and for the price point I expect better. I followed up with the bakery the next day and was told a manager would get back to me however there wasn’t any follow up.

The most awful cake I’ve ever eaten. Too sweet, the sweetness will make you to see a dentist next day. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

wonderful customer service and delicious cakes. The Vanilla Sprinkles is heavenly, highly recommend. It’s been our family favourite but we can’t help but want to try all their flavours! Red Velvet & Salted Caramel are great for any chocolate-lovers or anyone with a sweet tooth. The Carrot Cake is a must-try as well. Thank you Bake Sale for your consistent quality cakes!

Sad to say, just had the worst baked goods ever. We ordered two butter tarts, two turtle bars and two peanut butter cookies with a chocolate piece on top. $18. The butter tarts were complete sugar with a mushy crust, the turtle bars had no pecans and the chocolate tasted like pure sugar, the peanut butter cookie was just soft and tasteless. Ended up throwing it all out. I would diagnose the problem as a lack of good quality ingredients and substitutions. Never again.

The decor is very cute and the pastries look adorable but like with all Bake Sales I have tried, the focus is too heavily on look and not enough on taste. Everything is overly sweet, lacking of flavour and on the dry/stale side. The Kwartha Ice cream was gritty and had ice crystals in it which is awful considering how pricey it is.

One of the most delicious birthday cakes I have ever had, so glad I ordered this for my friend, the whole group was shocked as to how delicious it was, only downside was we wanted more and the cake was less then the size of a soccer ball. I would order again and yes compared to cakes you can buy pre made at grocery stores or bakery’s it is more expensive but the quality is worth the price. I would order cake from here again.

I bought the 5'' vanilla cake and it was great and SO FLUFFY + DELICIOUS + AIRY. It was a perfect size for a small get together. The cake wasn't too sweet either- personally I find that cakes I buy to be too sweet but this one was perfect. Also the staff are very helpful and writing on a cake takes less than 2 minutes. They also have a good selection of birthday candles and cake toppers etc. 10/10 will def be back <3

Even though I am not a huge fan of cup cake. This place makes amazing cupcakes!! I loved the carrot and oreo ones! Two thumbs up

Great collection of goods that you can tell are made with love. They use butter for a lot of their products which makes a major difference. Also, helps retain flavour and keep it lasting long. Every time I get food from here, it's a little taste of nostalgia for simpler times. Glad to see they're still around, and continuing to do what they do best which is make delicious baked goods.
