I have eaten here before but needed another experience to officially say how amazing their food was. The quality in ingredients and in preparation is seamless. I ordered their famous chicken Tikka and chicken Hakka noodles Kudos to the chef and a special thanks to the owner I absolutely love it, but next time, I need double scorching , it just wasn't hot enough for me, lol. But for regular guests, stick with hot. Parking: 6-8 stalls in front and behind. Many options Wheelchair accessibility: Yes
I recently dined at Badshah, an Indian restaurant, and had a delightful experience. The tandoori fish and egg hakka noodles were standout dishes that I thoroughly enjoyed. Additionally, the staff was warm and friendly, adding to the overall welcoming ambiance. I highly recommend this restaurant for its delicious food and excellent service.
Simply amazed by the restaurant! Vibrant atmosphere and attentive staff who are genuine and engaging. Smaller sized restaurant that proves a focus on food quality and keen service are integral to success! A 4 person booth was arranged with two extra tables to seat our party of 8. Being a "mild" type of guy I was very impressed by the flavors of each dish I could taste, despite getting my sweat on. We enjoyed okra, butter chicken, eggplant, naan bread, lamb, rice, shrimp,etc. A repeat visit is mandatory when we visit Calgary again, and next time I endeavour to learn the dish names!
If you are looking for tasty Indian food served with quality, this is your place to go. Ordered Jain vegetarian dishes, not only were the staff extremely welcoming and understanding, but catered to it with no delays or compromise. Dietary restrictions: Jain vegetarian food options
5 of us and we had the dinner for 4 combo and enough food for all of us. Great food and great price. Indian food do not have to be spicy and hot to be good. If you think Indian food is all about hot and spicy than you are WRONG. We had the curry and other and none of it, is all that spicy and hot but it all have great flavor, so for the weak stomach this is the place for you. The food at BadShah Curry House is all about the flavor. See picture what we had but I can tell you is the best I had in the last few years in and around Calgary. The place is cozy and a bit small but is a great mom and pop Restaurant. Lots of parking and well worth the drive to get up here in the NW.

We were looking for a new place to eat nearby that we haven't tried before. We were so happy to find this place. The service was outstanding. Being new to the restaurant we required some advice on what to get. I felt no pressure and they were so helpful. We ended up getting the dinner for four which was great because it gave us an appetizer, two vegetarian dishes, and two meat dishes. It also came with naan for four, rice, and a dessert. It was more than enough food for our family and we got to taste a variety of their excellent food. The prices were quite good for the quality of food that we got and I'll be back hungry for more. Thank you for a wonderful eating experience!
The hours are perfect for me since I don't have time to go get take out in Calgary. A lot of restaurants are closed early and this one stays open around 10pm. The food is fresh and the naan bread is made fresh too. The dinner for 2 is really affordable for the what you get. We had leftovers for the next day which tells you how much they serve. I'm from Vancouver and they have so many Indian restaurants there so I do know what I like. It's my go to place for curry dishes. The butter chicken is to die for. Big chunks of breast meat in a tomato curry sauce was enough to feed both of us.
We were dining here as a big group, they kindly set up a table for 15 for us. Service was really nice and friendly, the staff always check on us to make sure we have a great time. The food was by far the best Indian food I've ever had in Calgary.Food: 5/5
It is a hidden gem in NW, Calgary. We ordered chicken 65, Chicken sheekh kabab, potato kulcha naan & Onion kulcha naan for take-out. All foods were super delicious. Chicken 65 was crispy & chicken sheekh kabab was juicy...both the chicken items were well cooked. Kulchas were soft. Overall very good. Would definitely go back.Food: 5/5
