Truly a hidden gem. Clean and organized. Staff is very pleasant and helpful. Had Sultani Calzone which was super fresh and tasty. 100% recommend to all pizza lovers!
Really nice surprise. We arrived in town late in the evening and this was one of the only places open. The calzones were delicious and were so big I had some the next day. Made fresh and the sauces were good too. The cashier/cook was really nice, and he had patience! The customer after me asked about 100 questions, down to what type of mushrooms they used. I had the Donair, and my cousin had the pepperoni.
Always check the daily specials, Had the small mix calzone Beef/chicken for $10, fantastic flavour and a very good size for one average person. they have bigger sizes that can be shared. It's overall a Good value and the mix of spices were amazing with a taste you won't find anywhere else in a calzone. This place was difficult spot in the plaza, it's beside the lingerie store in the corner and well worth it, food takes 15 mins to prepare and is very fresh/hot out of the oven. Place was clean. I think they have a lot of potential but need more word of mouth. I fully support this unique and great tasting product and would like to see them expand into Brampton, Mississauga and the rest of the GTA.
The donair pitta was real good. The falafel not so much. My friend got a falafel wrap and he enjoyed it so it can’t be to bad. They have kind of a weird tasting humus. The calzone was good. I got the pepperoni one and it was good but not blown away with the price and size. The pita wraps are great is about as much as I can say. Especially the donair meat.
The food was amazing. Haven’t had a calzone/panzerotti like this before with shawarma/doner options. We went pretty late around 9 pm and even though there weren’t any customers, it took the person working there more than an hour to prepare our food and they also didn’t clean the tables so we had to do it ourselves. I would only go again for a take out as I didn’t have a good experience seating there
My son was craving Smokes Poutinerie, but when we got there we found Baba Calzone where smokes used to be. We decided to try it anyway. We ordered a small calzone a side of fries and a poutine. Food overall was tasty and good.I liked the sesame seeds on the calzone. The reason for the 4 Stars is because while the guy was making my poutine I saw him microwave a mug and then poured that mug on to my fries which I can only assume was the gravy. While I know most restaurants probably do this often it was quiet a turn off seeing it with my own two eyes. The gravy did taste good though.
I went in to this place after driving by it many time. Thought it was an Italian type calzone but once you see the ingredients you know there's some sort of twist. The owner manager who helped me tonight told me it's at calzone with the middle Eastern twist The good thing is you get to choose your size many different sizes I went with a medium and I went with the traditional pepperoni coleslaw added mushrooms Overall it was pretty good if you're up for something different this is where to go. Service and all that was good clean restaurant will probably go back
Awesome staff members and very helpful. They were closing, and still let us order and wait for our order outside and let us know when it was ready to pick it up. That level of customer service is definitely appreciated. I do recommend Baba Calzone
The Excellent customer service and was provided with many vegetarian options. Absolutely delicious Calzone! Kid-friendliness: Plenty of space for family dine in Parking: Great parking! Dietary restrictions: Tons of vegetarian options on the menu
Had the Meat Lovers calzone; food was packaged nicely and cleanly with extra sauces inside the box. Stayed hot and the dough was fresh! Great customer service. Delicious calzone.
