Second time that I buy a package of fruits and cheese and the fruits are ROTTEN. Completely disgusting. And the cashiers never smile.

Has discounted groceries for a buck a pack and usually many good deals in the flyer. The ppl who work there (whom I have encountered) are also friendly. Been coming here for a decade even before their renovation.

Where else in town can a completely drunk college student weave their way to the cashier at 430am, and in a barely coherent joyful slur, purchase a six pack of powdered donuts and four frozen pizzas? And behind him, a grizzled father, uprooted from a fragile sleep by his 3 day old baby, equally incoherent, buys toilet paper, Advil, and a box of condoms? The fruit and vegetable section can be surprisingly good, but not to be counted on, much like the mental capacities of either aforementioned gentleman, the morning after.

Great selection of food and very good prices. The section of prepared meals is also great for a quick eats.
