It looked fine until I had the first bite. As a person who have been eating tofu and beans for a whole life, I know exactly when the beans products has gone bad. You could literally tell by the stickiness of the texture, taste and smell. All those signs hit me so hard that I had to spitted out the tofu. It was so gross. I went to informed the person at the restaurant but they insisted that it was totally ok to eat. They just looked at the tofu and not even try to examining it. Well, I have been cooking tofu with spices for year. I know how the tofu texture supposed to be like. I insisted that I don’t feel comfortable eating it so restaurant ended up offering to replace the tofu for me. At first, I thought they were going to give me a new bowl because the spoiled tofu already mixed with other stuffs in the bowl. Turned out that they just picked out the tofu and put other vegetables into the same bowl. How cheap, inconsiderate and poor service they are. Highly NOT RECOMMEND this place.
Wayyyyy overpriced. Added salmon for $16? Wasn’t sure if we heard her wrong under the mask or something. $55 for a veggie wrap tiny pile of crushed chips included, apple goat cheese salad with salmon, and two drinks. Tasty, but never again. Go a few doors down to Claire’s if you wanna save some money and get a bigger selection.
This evening we had the great pleasure of dining at BNatural. We entered the restaurant in search of something really nutritious and fresh after a week of splurging on vacation type choices. WE LOVED BNATURAL!!! The cleanliness of the restaurant was immediately visible, and throughout the 45 minutes we were in the restaurant, attention was paid constantly to making the environment clean and welcoming. The manager was absolutely delightful. She patiently answered questions as we were new to the restaurant. We were extremely pleased with this experience, and if this establishment were in our town, it would immediately supplant any other establishments we frequent. Do not hesitate to try from the amazing selection of bowls and salads. And ask questions because they are more than happy to assist. This was a home run.
The beautiful veggie bowls my friends had smelled so good, so I can't rate *too* low, but I was here for a smoothie. I hate bananas, so I asked for bananas to be left out of my mango lassi. I was charged $9 instead of the $8 listed on the menu. Then, when I took a sip, my smoothie had a very dominant, unmistakable banana flavor. "Taste this," I asked my friends. "What fruits would you guess are in here?" "I'd say banana is definitely the strongest flavor," my friend responded. So I took the smoothie back to the register. When I explained the problem, they told me I was wrong, and refused to make it right. I decided not to try for a refund, and instead to laugh it off and give my smoothie to my friend. They really like bananas, so to them it was tasty! Maybe you'll enjoy eating here, but if you don't, there's not much you can do about it.
I hardly ever leave reviews and hate to leave a negative review with any restaurant but this one really bothered me and this restaurant needs to be flagged. My girlfriend and I ordered Uber eats today. She got me a Mexican Bowl and she had a salmon dish. The Mexican bowl was literally inedible and just smelt disgusting and spoiled. I tried to narrow down the ingredients to see what was bad on it and the worst was shredded cheese which was hard to even smell never the less eat. Once i mixed it all together not knowing this the entire meal was ruined. On top of that the avacados were soggy and discolored and im not sure if its supposed to be served cold but the whole thing including the chicken in it was cold. After the bowl being so bad i was afraid for her to eat the Salmon but considering we spent $65 on this order she gave it a shot and she has been in the bathroom sick to her stomach for 3 hours. The only decent thing we can say is a spoonful of the Mango Parfait was decent but at that point we were afraid to even eat anything from this place. I promise you we are not being dramatic, it was that bad. Foodborne illness is very serious and one of the worst things to experience and I have no idea how this place is even open if they serve these items on a daily basis. If the volume of business isnt there that is no excuse to serve spoiled or borderline food!...This establishment needs to be held accountable because there is absolutely no excuse for my girlfriend to have to go through that today and getting paying customers sick due to poor ownership or management.
You know, I felt like I was going to adore this place, but the "Warm bowl" I got was mostly cold with a few warm bites scattered within. The warm bites were really wonderful and the rest of it really wasn't bad at all, I just don't believe it was supposed to be this temperature irregular.Food: 3/5
This was honestly the worst take out order I've ever had in my life. I ordered an avocado chicken salad as it seemed safe to eat with a dairy allergy. When I got home with my meal, the item I ordered with no mention of dairy products was covered in goat cheese. This is a serious offense as diary is a common allergen. If you are going to put an allergen in a meal you must mention that it is present. After removing the top layer of my meal to avoid dairy I was left with a mediocre salad. The menu said it came with dijon dressing which I also did not receive. Instead I got balsamic dressing....a lot of balsamic dressing...probably enough for three salads. There was so much dressing that after a drive home what remained of my now allergen free salad was soggy and wilted. If you want any sort of food in New Haven, look elsewhere, BNatural is not the place to go
Loved it. I thought it would be a basic place to get take out, but we dined in and had a lovely experience. Super fresh, flavorful and everything is made to order. The menu is expansive too with options for all eaters. Nice service and relaxing vibe.
Best ice chai in town! Edit: came back here with my dad and the employees were fabulously kind and accommodating.
Every time I choose a different meal from the menu, because I have yet to find anything less than delicious, healthy, and inspired. That's saying a lot from a gal who is DF, GF, and oftentimes vegetarian. I highly recommend their veggie juices- if you would like them chilled- ask for a couple ice cubes. I cannot speak for any of their pastries or baked goods. Your seating options are all hard chairs with little tables- unless you're lucky enough to snag one of the two big comfy chairs. The service friendly but not overly so. B-Natural is a Perfect cafe for a quick bite at lunchtime!
