I followed Awesome Nails on Instagram for a long time and I needed nails for my university graduation and my wedding. Vinh did those sets for me and I was never left disappointed! Vinh’s shaping when it comes to nails is unreal. Everyone would always ask me who did my nails when they saw them!

I wanted to come here to get a gel infill. I was told they would have to remove my current nails at a cost of $15, before they can put on a new full set at another cost of $65. When I asked why they couldn't just do an infill, I was told it was because they couldn’t garentee the work. I've been getting my nails done for 25yrs now, both in England and here in Canada, and I've never heard such rubbish in my life. I did not go with this company.

Went in for a new set last month, nails were chipping the same evening. When I had contacted them while on vacation after an incident that caused me to lose my entire pinky nail and nail bed I questioned the quality of my nails based on the even more extensive chipping that had happened since application. I have had my nails done countless times at a couple of salons in St. Albert acrylics or gel and never once had the issue of chipped polish. They did refund the cost for nail design however also wanted me to take down my initial review in order to give some of the cost back.. this is not how a business should be run just because they wish to keep their squeaky clean reputation as far as reviews go nor a way to do business just to return money to a client for a poorly done job. To add to it, when I went to the second salon to get the nails removed two of those nail techs both examined my nails and noticed my nails were in fact buffed down far too thin thus reason for some sensitivity issues I was having more recently as my natural nail grew below the acrylics. Be wary of getting your nails done here.

I've been to Awesome Nails twice now, and I am thoroughly impressed with how kind and inviting the staff are! You can tell there are a lot of long-term clients that continue to support this business which speaks volumes! Thank you to Vinh and the rest of the team!

Great service, Ava was great and did my sisters nails while I got a pedicure. When I got jealous of my sister's pretty nails Vinh was able to fit me in. Beautiful work, definitely worth the trip to St. Albert. Prices are slightly higher than some salons, but only marginally and the quality is certainly higher. Also super glad to see them working with quality nail brands, acrylic was by designed by Tony Ly. Also saw Ugly Duckling and OPI. I didn't catch the name of the gentleman who did my pedicure, but it was wonderfully done as well.
