In 1967, the Avalon Mall opened its doors and grew to become the largest, most noted shopping centre in Newfoundland & Labrador. Known to Newfoundlanders and Labradorians as "The Mall", Avalon Mall's recognition and selection of retailers has made it "THE" shopping destination in the province.

Located in historic St. John's, the Avalon Mall offers over 140 stores and services to choose from. Great mall. Location is perfect and great way to spend a rainy afternoon if you're from out of town. All the regular stores we are used to with more size options and stock. Food court is huge and never too packed which is a plus.
Always loved the Avalon I was away for a couple decades and it changed a lot, but its still very familiar. I miss the fountain though :p nStaff are always very friendly, the food is really good, plenty selection of stores - we always make a note to come for a visit when we're in town. -cheers
This mall is a great place for both shopping and relaxing. It has a wide variety of stores, so you can find almost anything you need. When it’s not busy, the calm atmosphere makes it even more enjoyable to just walk around or take a break. Whether you're here to shop or simply unwind, it’s a lovely spot to spend your time
I love the Avalon mall from a cold winter's day to escape the miserable weather, to a rainy summer's day to escape the rain, there's never really a bad time to go to the avalon mall. The mall has so much to choose from in regards to any kind of store, whether that be food or clothing or electronics. Whatever you fancy the mall has you covered. It's always very clean and the custodians are always friendly. Definitely come here if you're looking to. Have a good time
