My hairstylist Heather is now working at this salon. She's amazing! My friends and family would all agree. She listens, never cuts too much and is always honest about what is possible with your particular hair. The salon is a family owned business and has a nice atmosphere.

I often  struggle to get exactly what I want and need for my hair but I was delightfully surprised when I spontaneously strolled into Avalon. Josie did a fantastic job! Excellent service! Definitely coming back

I saw a barber to clean up my mohawk, and he tried to make me look like Cristiano Ronaldo. I explained very carefully that I just wanted my sides shaved neatly with a 0 clipper blade, but he left big patches unshaved. There seemed to be a language/generational gap happening, but even after two other customers tried to help explain to him, he didn't seem to want to or be able to do what I had asked. He also initially refused to serve me, as I am a woman. He only agreed after a customer explained that my hair style is unisex and he should be able to shave it for me. I won't be returning.

Love this place!!!  Great people and service!  Paul Taylor is always ahead in style with his hair designs!

Paul is magic.  I have searched long and hard for someone who really knows how to cut hair.  He's a true artist.
