Story

Family owned and operated in the Oakville area for over 35 years. Experience the Automacs difference in our new 14,000 square foot facility located in the heart of Oakville. We are preferred and recommended by most major insurance companies as well as some local dealerships. We also offer a 'Fast Lane' repair and refinish process for smaller repairs to bypass regular production for a faster turn around.

Someone made a light impact on the back of my car, and my dealership recommended that I take my car to Automacs collision on Speers Rd. They smoothed out the imprint on the bumper, but when I went to pick it up, there was a break on the underside of the bumper 2-3 inches long. According to Automacs, they had no idea that the car had been damaged, though thankfully I noticed it before leaving their lot. They fixed the damage for free, but offered no explanation as to what had happened, except that another customer must have made contact from behind (which was unlikely as the damage was on the underside of the bumper, and the back of the car was parked towards the road with a ditch between it and the road). They also assured me more than once that they would fill in some minor scratches on the outside of the car, and both times I left the car with them, it wasn't done. When I asked about it, they said that I could do that myself with a paint pen... The car waxing was also supposed to be part of my initial service, but they later said that they don't do that, and set up an appointment for me with a detailer down the road. I also asked to see the underside of the car to be sure that nothing else had been damaged, and they said that would not be possible as they were too busy. They then said that they would take some pictures when they did the repair, but when I came to pick up the car, there were no pictures available. In the end, they told me more than once that they would provide a service, and then didn't do it. And not only did my car end up more damaged in their care than when I initially took it to them, but they didn't even try to get to the bottom of how it happened.

Jeremy and the Automacs team are one of those rare finds: exceptional on all fronts! They carried out a complex series of repairs which required ongoing collaboration with the dealership/manufacturer and took 6 weeks to complete. Despite an unpredictable series of delays, Jeremy was transparent, proactive in managing expectations and generous in terms of providing alternative transportation. The team were always responsive and the repairs were carried out flawlessly. I hope that I don't have to get any further repairs done, but if I do, there is only one place I will go!

Another great experience today with Automacs and Allen. Had a little mishap this morning and Allen buffed out the scuff for me at no charge. Whether it’s a big job or a small one, Automacs has always done great work for us which is why we’ve used them for many years now. Thanks again, Allen!

This was my second time using AutoMacs. First time was a repair to my Jeep Grand Cherokee which had significant damage to the tailgate. It came back flawless. This time I came in for an estimate on paint chips on the hood of my BMW and some surface damage on the lift gate. Allen was very helpful and informative and provided a fair estimate on the spot. He also repaired the lift gate damage on the spot at no charge. I would recommend Allen.
