It only takes one visit to our classic diner to understand why Mio locals and tourists alike always put AuSable River Restaurant high on their list of favorite eateries. Our food is great, our staff is warm and welcoming, and our prices are just right. We serve up a wide selection of made-from-scratch home and country-style dishes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, from eggs and pancakes to giant burgers and Monte Cristo sandwiches. The only thing we're prouder of than the dishes we serve is the support we get each day from our community. Even with covid-19 seating restrictions they made accommodations for a large group for my 50th birthday dinner. Portions were more than adequate to say the least, their appetizers were fantastic and even though they were busy and short staffed we didn't feel like we were lost in the crowd and made to wait any longer than expected.
After work we decided to order take out for dinner. Ordered the garlic cheese bread, which was ultimate perfection!! And, the deep dish pizza was the best pizza we've had in a long time! It wasn't a long wait time and the order was ready when we got there. Fair prices and plenty to eat. We can't wait to try something else next week.
Really good food an friendly staff. Attention to detail with carry outs is suspect. Sorry, but every order we've done this year has something missing.
The new patio is great! The cod meal has an amazing batter! It's not the thick greasy traditional style.
Excellent mushroom cheese burger,& Club sandwich homemade fries & onion rings was very satisfied with the service glad to support small town business...

Great food.. love the updates inside.. our server was amazing.. very attentive an upbeat.. definitely worth every penny.. big portions.. you are full an happy when you leave.. I would give 10 stars if I could. Congratulations to the new owners..
They have made many upgrades latley. The pizza is great and good price too
