Had my first appointment last week. Super clean office, receptionist was outstanding. Fresh up to date modern office. Hygienist did an amazing job and explained my cleaning as she proceeded. The Dr. reviewed my exrays with me on a screen so I could understand and see what my teeth looked like and point out areas of concern. Thought this explanation with my exrays was very informative. Since I had no dental coverage on a plan thought the charges were very reasonable. If your looking gor a new Dentist, I was very impressed.
I Took my toddler for her first dental visit here, because of their high ratings and close to home. The dental hygienist was ok, she did her job. But the dentist looking guy did not impress me, at all. All he did was counting my daughter's teeth. Then...he left without saying anything meaningful. It was literally 2 mins job and I got charged $60+ separately for that. Honestly, I can count her teeth by myself, why would I spend $60 for you to do it? All I want is real consultation about my kids teeth health and any concerns since this is her first dental ever. But unfortunately that didn't happen. Edit: They did call me and offered another appointment which was complete and thorough. The dental assistant who works at the reception was super friendly, my daughters loves her.
Very professional and transparent on pricing. Best clinic I have ever been to, without question. Staff is extremely friendly and this is without a doubt the cleanest the most spotless well-maintained office I have ever seen. Thanks!
I wanted to give a shout out to dentist Matthew Balenko. He is a knowledgeable, kind and compassionate dentist. He cut part of his fees so I could get redone a crown that have been done twice wrong. He is very good with kids making a visit to the dentist easy. He also provides reassurance and answer questions without rushing and as many time as needed. We travel 90 mins to see him because he is a dentist that knows and cares.

I came here for a cleaning and was very impressed. The facilities are very new and modern, and thoughtful charging station for personal phones and a children's area for kids to occupy themselves. The receptionist was very friendly and warm. The dental hygienist May was extremely friendly, professional, and thorough with explaining every step she took and instructions on dental care for future. At the end of the cleaning, she showed me a detailed review of my teeth so I could clearly see what parts of my teeth I need to pay particular attention to. I have gone to the same dental office in Markham for 22 years but I am considering switching to this one permanently, considering its advanced technology, modern facility, and extremely kind and helpful service.
Customer care is alive and well! Everyone ensured that I was comfortable from the moment I entered the door. This was my first visit and won’t be my last!
The staff are always open and friendly. They've responded to my dental emergencies quickly, and hold a lot of sympathy and patience. I personally dislike being a regular patient to any sort of clinic, but my dental health has only improved with their professional care.
Thanks Dr Shawn!! Having been in dentistry for over 30 years, you can imagine I'm very selective about who does my own dental work. Dr G made me feel comfortable and did a fabulous job on my veneers to which I am very grateful. When we first met I was immediately struck by his knowledge of current dentistry and the quality of his treatment. Again, thank you Shawn.
