Nice little spot to hit up for bunch : the food was top notch and Darren our server was great! We had the brunch gnocchi and the mushroom spinach hash. Don’t forget to get an order of their cream scones! No pic for those because we ate them too fast. Can’t wait to come back and try another dish.
Such a hidden gem! Our server, Darren, was amazing and when you have great service paired with amazing food, it’s a win in my books. We had the duck phyllo pastry as a starter, the sour cherry jam was such a good compliment to the dish! Very unique combination. The pesto gnocchi is to die for! Everything is made fresh in house, so it really tastes like a summer dish. If you have a sweet tooth like me, definitely get the sticky toffee pudding for dessert. It will not disappoint.
Love this place for brunch! Cute local spot, food was amazing, service top notch, Darren went out of his way to make us feel special. I’d definitely come back!
Baked Seafood Gratin: Shrimp, Scallops, Sweet roasted peppers and onions, Garlic cream, Swiss cheese, Asiago, Crispy potatoes; Sticky Toffee Pudding. Delish!
The service was great. Our server was warm and friendly. The food was wonderful - gnocchi for mains, and assorted desserts. If I had one teeny suggestion, the sticky toffee pudding came with ice cream, which took it over a bit. I love sticky toffee pudding with whipped cream. Maybe offer a choice of toppings?
Very cool little spot. Service was excellent Janelle was super friendly. Food was excellent pretty much everything is homemade right down to the ketchup. 5 star breakfast forsure
Saw the rerun of this place on “You Gotta Eat Here” and decided to try it. All I can say is what a hidden gem this place is. Small and quaint but the food is delicious!! Had the smoked brisket sandwich and the seafood gratin and I will definitely be going back. 100% recommended!
We had a great Friday brunch here. Good homemade bread, delicious white wine and tasty food. Four of us ordered different dishes and we all like our food. Service was great as well from the owner. First and wont be the last!
Not sure where to start, but after reading some of the reviews, my wife and I had to comment. Most of the 1 star reviews had to have been old because for the first time, we visited August in 2021 as a couple and were blown away with the food, service, ambience and flavors. A year later, we decided to return to NOLA for our honeymoon and revisited August again, and had yet another spectacular experience all around! This is by far one of the MOST DOs in NOLA! Chefs, WE are open for a third culinary experience...
