When I arrived, I was asked to wait for a moment, as can be usual in places of medical expertise. I used sanitiser as requested and admired the art. It is a small office. I've been in the booth before. I was asking about musician's earplugs, which were around $100 two years ago. The price is now $300 or so and they are not very complex, with a replaceable inner mechanism. They were explained to me like the make and model of a car - colour only. It was cute. The light-sabre like flashlight used to measure my ear was about three or four inches long, pointy, and plexiglass or transparent. The light shone brightly. I politely excused myself and walked out. You know, there were just no lines to measure with on the longer-and-sharper-than-cotton-swab device.
