I really love this place for the variety of Quebec items they carry; everything from wine and beer to smoked meats. They are definitely committed to promoting the local economy. The cheese selection alone is fantastic. Whether you visit to pick up a couple of items or a full cart, the staff are always pleasant and polite. The prices are very good. This is one of my favorite places to shop. Thanks Aubut!
I had received horrible customer service from few cashiers before but still came because of the convenience of merchandise even though it’s far for me. I come today and see a paper on the door saying they closed at 6 for inventory. This is something that’s planned ahead yet they didn’t take the time to update their hours. Zero respect for people and their time. I saw at least 7 people come and leave disappointed the time it took to write this.
They closed at 6 pm on Jan 8 and didnt bother changing their hours online. Inacceptable. How hard could it be to get an admin to change the hours. My heart goes to the poor people coming from long distances to this place. Drove 2h to get here. This is terrible. 0 responsability taken.
I started going to Aubut because they stock Koshihikari rice, and it is significantly lower cost than on Amazon, and not stocked by Costco.nnAubut has a better variety of pasta than Costco, and stocks all type of products I was buying at Costco. Also no mayhem in the alley ways, you don't have to avoid weekends, and no membership.nnFinally, they have products like miso in stock, all the time. I would have to travel a significant distance to get these products from other stores.
In one word: Disappointing.nWe saw the hype and went there to compare it from Costco and it was not worth it. Store is empty and you understand why.nPrices are higher than Costco.nItems that you can’t find at Costco are the same price are other grocery stores.nLots of US or China products as well.nI will not go back.
