Auberge du Port

We had an amazing stay at Auberge du Port! September 3-6, 2024. They went above and beyond to make us feel Welcome from the very beginning which started with mynown reservation error in January, to the incredibly warm welcome we received upon our check in. The room was large, clean, comfortable, peaceful and offered stunning views of the harbour especially atnnight. An excellent central location; it was perfect for our 2 full days of travel.nWe highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Les Iles de la Madeleine.Every aspect of our stay was wonderful, and we couldn’t be more grateful. Thank you so much again for your wonderful hospitality. Auberge du Port made our trip extremely special.

I liked this hotel less than Chateau Madelinot but it does have some pluses: shared kitchen you can cook at, my room was larger and very close to port. Other guest seemed more longer stay folks working on the island. Less touristy feel and a bit more hostel/apartment feel. Depends what you are looking for. Layout of the building is a bit weird.

Beautiful hotel, with great owners! The community kitchen and hangout area is great for large groups! Only downside is there is no AC in rooms

The rooms are renovated and it's very close to the ferry terminal. There is a shared kitchen and games room. No breakfast is included. Imo the price is high for what you get.

Friendly service and great staff made me feel relaxed in this location, however our faulty shower and lack of AC in the room kept it from being a truly excellent stay. Would still definitely recommend, could've just been this one room!
