ATM (Stretch Truck Stop)

I'll start buy saying that One star is generous! It's father's day 2017, we arrived at 9:00 am got our coffee and order in buy 9:05. We sat there for 45 minutes while we watched other's who sat down 10 minutes after we did get their food before us. Needless to say after going to the Stretch for 30 years I will not be back, this is not the first time I've been disappointed however it will be my last!

So let me begin by saying our expectations of this restaurant have never been very high. With low expectations, there wouldn't be much that would surprise us as far as low quality service and food, right?! Therefore, by taking the time to review and rate our Stretch experience proves that it was beyond awful. We arrived a little after 8:00pm tonight. Without any acknowledgement from the staff we grabbed a table and waited patiently for menus and our drink order. 5 or so minutes pass and we still have not been acknowledged. No big deal, with low expectations we weren't dissappointed with the lack of customer service. Continued to wait another 5 minutes (10 minutes so far), all while looking around to see if maybe the waitress (Danielle according to our receipt) might be swamped or helping some other customers. NOPE! She was not busy helping the 2 other tables, who seemed to be finished with their dinner. But she did seem to be having a fun time screwing off with other staff and a younger group of customers, who appeared to be friends. Again, no big deal. Low expectations. After our drink orders were taken, we waited another 10 minutes to have our order taken. Please note that when the waitress came back to take our order, she must have "forgotten" to bring our drinks. Fine, whatever, NBD. 20 minutes in and we finally have our drink and food order placed! Still no drinks at this point. So we decide to kill some time and money on the gambling machines while waiting for our order to be delivered. Well after about 15 minutes of not having any luck on the machines, we look to our table in hopes that our food would be there because at this point we were just about the only ones in there. Besides the waitress's friends. No food, but hey, our drinks (soda) made it!!!! My boyfriend and I sat down at our table continued to wait patiently. The waitress came by after another 5 minutes of waiting and explained to us that our order never printed in the kitchen. And she explained that this has happened a few times to her today, but this was not surprising to us because we had heard the whole argument between her and the kitchen staff before she made it to us to let us know. But to make up for our order not printing in the kitchen she would comp us our sodas. Very generous of her. 40 minutes in, only customers now, we get our food. Everything we ordered arrived all at the same time. Appitizer and side salad were delivered after our main dish. No condiments with the appitizer and none of the condiments that we asked for while ordering were put along with our dinner. So we ask a second time, she yells back to the kitchen for them, we all wait another good 5 minutes and finally the waitress decides to just go back to the kitchen and get them herself. Way to take iniative girlfriend!!! Now, here is where I lose my patience. Because it took so long for the food to arrive and we only had our sodas served to us, by the time we actually got our food, our sodas were nearly empty. So we politely scoot our now empty soda cups to the end of the table, crossing our fingers the waitress would notice them empty and eagerly waddle over to us and offer to get us refills! Lol! Nah, this waitress didn't bother to get up off the stool she was perched at behind the cash register to check to see how we were doing and if we needed refills. So I politely bring our cups to her and ask for a refill. Now, at this point one would assume that you gone done a eeeffffed up if your customer brings you their own cups to get a refill right?! Nah, her exact response was "Oh! You should have just asked!" GTFOH! That's all I had to do? Is ask? When should I have done that? When you did not once stop by the ONLY table and ask how we were doing? Is that when I should have? Or should I have yelled across the resturant and asked for a refill? Or maybe I should have just served myself? At this point we are just trying to finsh our dinner and get out of there because its pushing 9:30pm. What a joke.

Loads of parking. Resteraunt good home cooked meals. Good service

Served moldy bread, patrons were incredibly rude.
